  2. Not likely that there was 29BB's worth of rake if you were owning him that hard.
Haha it ended up lasting about an hour. Nut straight<Nut Flush, A4<KJ aipf, made straight<two pair all in on the turn, etc. He ended up getting past the max buy in so I bought in max and won it back. Hmm, poker tracker says he started with $13, I won .50 from the session, and there was $7 in rake, I'm not really sure where the rest went, oh well. He had so many timing tells it was ridiculous. I suck but he sucked a lot harder. I should stop tilting and playing HU though.
  3. You'll get a lot better advice if you don't show results. Knowing the results, it's easy to say check behind on the river because you have to think about what he would be check calling all the way with other than a draw. Still a cooler though.
Sorry seems like the white font didn't work cause i'm using a proxy.
  4. My first post in this thread is not a happy one.Should I just slow down when the club comes or is this just a cooler? 5. This feature alone makes HUD far superior. I'll run HUD without PT just so I never have to click a HH. p.s. IMO
Search Realtime HUD on 2+2 and that has this feature as well and is free. :club: Another difference between Pokerace and Gametime is that Gametime only works for cash and not SNGs and tourneys but I would just recommend getting Realtime. free>$25
  6. Maybe its buyin dependent but my read on the push is that Im behind on a coinflip or dominated, Im not dominating anything. With what is probably the top stack on the table I can find a fold here.
That was my thinking. Usually in these situations, I seem to find myself way behind AA KK or flipping with other pocket pairs because lower stakes players don't really 3bet too light. I folded, guess it's kinda nitty but calling a shove with AK doesn't usually seem to work out.
  7. Full Tilt (7 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Preflop: Hero is SB with Kheart.gif, Aspade.gif. Hero posts a blind of 50. Final Pot: Can't really seem to convert it to get all the preflop action. Anyway, 7 handed blinds are at 50-100. Villain's stack is 1885, mine is 3230. One limper, I raise from SB to 300, Villain shoves, limper folds. Standard play here? And what kind of ranges should I put him on?

  8. The good stuff is all spread out unfortunately. I think the beginning is good when we were all doing the challenge so to speak. If you're learning cash games and looking for strat info, my biggest piece of advice is to NOT raise for information, but raise to build big pots when you have big hands. Outside of that, just read along and you'll get lots of good info as people post in this thread.Mark
Ty. I'm goin to make this thread a regular visit.
  9. 4-bet pf, get all in on flop is standard here I think.Seeing as you didn't do that I think you need to raise bigger on the flop.If he had actually bet out a normal amount on the flop I think just calling is right, because against a player with any level of competence they aren't going to call a raise but may fire again with worse Ks and other hands.
I'm a cash game donk and sorry for hijacking the thread, and I guess obv 4-betting AK is standard but what's the reasoning behind this? We're ahead of all aces, a flip with everything else, and only really really behind AA?And fold equity? Playing AK aggressively preflop seems to get me in trouble
