This is completely unrelated, but in '07 for the entire year my sister and her husband somehow became like the highest VIP level members at the Rio (they had stayed there before and gambled a decent amount, but nothing to warrant anything special at all). They went out there numerous times during the year and always had free suites, got free tickets to the Nascar race and other stuff going on from the Rio, free food, etc.When '08 rolled around they were planning a trip out there and called to see about a free room and were told no and that there had been a 'mistake'.Lol.
