  1. Up $23,760 this month. I am going to go insane if I don't take off at least today from poker. Been so swingy lately that I have probably aged 20 years. Yikes and its only the 10th. Yeah a day off would definitely be good right now.

  2. what is the most fun/profitable/stressful cash game wise to play out of-heads up-6 max-full tablealso, is feeling the rush necessary for you? for me, i could never play 2 4 NL again cause there would be no rush. does that apply at all to your situation, or have you learned something that I haven't yet.p.s. sorry that i busted you out of the Sunday 750K. forgot to tell you how much of a tournament shark i am :club:

  7. i have gotten hit and run over 30 times in the last 3 days and it has been really wearing on me lately. that except of me ranting looks really bad, and im not proud of it. however, it still annoys me when people suck out and then leave. i dont no why i havnt gotten over it, but it still bugs me and when it happens over and over and over, sometimes stuff just spills over.

  8. wow i never realized this forum had this kind of thread. thats pretty neat. anyway, heres my fun hand of the day. yip yip.FullTiltPoker Game #4331704292: Table Effort (heads up) - $10/$20 - No Limit Hold'em - 0:43:42 ET - 2007/11/29Seat 1: IHaveAStrong9 ($2,169.50)Seat 2: drphil_jr ($6,809)IHaveAStrong9 posts the small blind of $10drphil_jr posts the big blind of $20The button is in seat #1*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to IHaveAStrong9 [Qh 3h]IHaveAStrong9 raises to $60drphil_jr raises to $180IHaveAStrong9 calls $120*** FLOP *** [4h 4d 6c]drphil_jr bets $240IHaveAStrong9 has 15 seconds left to actIHaveAStrong9 calls $240*** TURN *** [4h 4d 6c] [Ah]drphil_jr checksIHaveAStrong9 checks*** RIVER *** [4h 4d 6c Ah] [Ks]drphil_jr has 15 seconds left to actdrphil_jr bets $580IHaveAStrong9 has 15 seconds left to actIHaveAStrong9 raises to $1,749.50, and is all indrphil_jr has 15 seconds left to actdrphil_jr foldsUncalled bet of $1,169.50 returned to IHaveAStrong9IHaveAStrong9 shows [Qh 3h] a pair of FoursIHaveAStrong9 wins the pot ($1,999.50)*** SUMMARY ***Total pot $2,000 | Rake $0.50Board: [4h 4d 6c Ah Ks]Seat 1: IHaveAStrong9 (small blind) collected ($1,999.50)Seat 2: drphil_jr (big blind) folded on the River

  9. wow. i have never felt grosser. just lost around 19 thousand to Grimstarr at 10 20 2 tabling. To say he ran good is an understatement, but I misplayed a few hands too. I'll probably post some hands when I get out of this daze. It was really hard to leave the 2 tables down that much but I managed to do so. Now up 66,400 this month, guess these $ goals are bad karma. god this feeling is sickening. blahhhhhh. why couldn't i have just stopped at 71K. going to bed.

  10. Is there a reason why you didn't 3 bet this preflop? I understand you guys are deep and all, but if he is that crazy/stupid, he will probably at least call every time. If he flat calls and you lead this flop and he raises you, I would say against this type of opponent its a pretty easy 3 bet shove on the flop. If you are flat calling preflop, you are slowplaying 88. So this flop is the best flop possible besides obviously flopping trips. Therefore, based on your read, you can either 4 bet shove the flop or call to see what he does on the turn and act accordingly. Also, this type of hand is the kind of hand that is hard to get accurate feedback on from others. Heads up is so much about the game flow that snap folding the flop 3 bet to snap shoving to the flop 3 bet are both understandable. In a vacuum this hand is a fold. But with reads/feel/etc., this can easily be a call. Really though, its hard for anyone to accurately comment. Especially Naismith, since he might be a bit biased. LOLLL.

  11. this month has been pretty sick. According to my graph, I am up $70,996 this month. So at some point I am going to need to win 4$ haha, but otherwise I think I am done for the month unless i feel that urge that so often owns me. More often then not I will be playing within the next few hours. Although i did buy some sweet movies that i will watch so hopefully that will combat things until December starts.

  12. The villain is WiShIwUzThErE. I have him at 30.13/17.63/2.75 over 312 hands. I had been at 31.02/21.05/2.35 over that same span. He seems to be a good thinking TAG. I just made big call down at another table with 4th pair and he had air. I haven't shown down any bluffs yet. What do you guys think of river play? 14. I think in addition to posting about the best threads, we could post about 1 key concept in NL Hold Em that really brought you to that Ahah! moment. For me, I think the biggest concept was trying to merge your betting patterns so that your bluffs were indentical to your made hands. When I first started playing poker after Moneymaker won in 2003, I remember being really caught up in slowplaying and being tricky. Realizing the benefit of fastplaying your strong hands I think was one of the key factors in making me more confident of my poker game. I think I still tend to slowplay a little too much, but I am much improved in that aspect.
