  1. I'd raise to 150 ~ 180 because of your excellent position and the high quality of your hand. 120 is not big enough because once you have raised the pot it becomes 225, giving them 2.5:1 to call. People can still call with a too wide of a range of hands given you have AKo. Hence you're less clear about whats calling you and you're reducing your chances of stealing when you miss.A raise to 150 gives them 1.7:1... and gives you a lot more information once we see how they play post flop.
  2. what should I be expecting him to have?

So what do you think

  6. Trying to avoid variance!!?? Isn't that like trying to avoid gravity?EDIT: Sorry not very constructive.Well considering he's OOP a c/bet is very likely as the guy was also the preflop raiser. But why do a stop n go with KK? It's a $2 tourney, just bet for value on every street. If he'd of reraised preflop we would have some idea of the strength of this guys hand and whether or not he'd call a push because we want him to call right?

  8. Well he's certainly not interested in stealing the blinds because they're tiny and of his position. I'd fold... eventually.
  9. It's alright telling some to call over a pit boss at the first hint of collusion. But how sure do you think YOU would have to be in order to do it? Like would you of done it in this case? And what would you say to the pit boss? Just describe what you saw?
  10. What they said. You'd regret not saying something if you had ended up in a hand with the pair of them.
  11. So fold then? BTW I like the graph. Graphs are good

  13. OK, apologies LOL. I just looked through all the hands he was involved in and in them he was either given a free card and made his hand or was shoved into so all he did was call. Hmmm this isn't how I remember it lol. So reanalysis, the guy seems to be similar to myself, fairly TAG and has just had the luxury of playing with a few fish. So I need to read opponents better and pay attention to how the hand was actually played out.Against playing the hand:bubblestrong opponentraisehe has positionsimilar stack size - ideally I want him to fold preflop but this doesn't look like one of those situat
  14. So at this point what would his range be?
  15. I called but I thought a raise was correct because of my small M, it's 4 handed plus I would be OOP after the flop. A call gets me no information so mistake made.Flop: 4 4 4 (t900, 2 players)Hero ???I'm thinking "time to check/fold and I should have raised"
  16. What would you do if say I was wrong about the guy's hand selection and he was in fact tighter? Still very aggressive, strong player and everything else.

Near all raises preflop > 3xBB. Hardly checks the flop and hasn't shown any fear in shoving or calling a shove. I've been playing TAG and pretty sure he's aware of it.
  18. He laughs but he knows full well that £1.20 is enough to buy a friend into 2 SnG's!!And I quote:1: /sigh I was playing in a SnG last night and my ace's got cracked AGAIN!2: Yea but how much did you pay to play?1: Err... £0.50 + 0.05.2: lol, I'd crack your ace's for that much. The Apostrophe Protection Society
  19. I still owe you £1.20 from when we went to Spar at the end of term
  20. Thanks guys for the quick response and more importantly, the spot on advice. Much appreciated!
  21. Yeah I agree. It should have been raised to 3~4xBBBut why did he call my raise on the flop, didnt he have just 2:1 pot odds?? Do implied odds really make up the difference when I have 970 left.
