Might as well start this now, looks like things are starting to move. Rick Perry is set to announce his intent to run under GOP. Not sure what to think of him. He used to be a Democrat and supported Al Gore in 1988. He also seems to be very socially conservative, which I think will polarize a lot of moderate Democrats. But based on the limited things I have read, he would immediately be the front runner, and he has been a big part of balancing Texas's budget.

It's no different than all the money being spent on research at drug companies. They don't profit until they come up with a viable drug. I watched the winning season with Sam Rockwell. He is a drunk dead beat dad who apparently was a pretty good High School player, went on to coach but something happened. The movie starts with him busing tables and stealing food and half drunk beers while cleaning up. He is given the head coach job for the girls varsity team. It's kind of a cliche movie, but it has some really funny parts in it. It's not going to blow you away, but it's very worth the watch.

If investors were afraid of treasuries money would not have flowed to them at the rate they did this past week. And interest rates would have jumped.
