  1. you have to be 19 to enter a casino in ontario..the hand stamp is so that you're not bothered by security all night for your idbodog shouldn't be running sats for this one...they don't allow Canadian customers and i'd seriously doubt they would do it because of that.my only question...why is Windsor not allowed by law to run sats for any tourneys (something about the way the olgc sets rules) and niagra can?
They are running sats, I already checked.
  2. wow now im a cheater? I thought it was common sense to check it down. How is that cheating the guy who went all in with K2 knows what were doing and didnt have a problem with it. He said he would have done the samething, he wasnt mad one bit. I think your accusations of me being a cheater are going too far.
The problem is you verbalized it. You can't team up to knock another player out, it's an unfair advantage. It usually happens, but you still can't verbalize it like that.
  3. I was told that 18 year old can come into the Casino but have to get stamped since they cannot legally drink.I do not know if that is true but I think it is because I often see kids with stamps on the back of their hands playing in our cash games. You would need to phone the casino to ask though as I really don't know.
On the casino's website it says 19 I believe. Either way, I'm 19 so it's all good :club:
  4. Meh..I know better, too..for some reason I neglected to include the Ace in my thought process, I was too busy trying to fit an 8 in there somewhere. Thanks for the correction, though. Probably should sleep before the Maint Event starts. :club:
Took me a bit to think about the A in the low as well.Yea, sleep before that is probably a good idea. Best of luck in that too.
  5. His story is still bunk. Maybe I'm having a hard time, but, I can't imagine a scenario where you have AAXX in your hand, flop the nut straight, top set, nut flush draw *and* your opponent has a backdoor low draw. Can anyone?
he has: AAKQ with one of the aces suited with either the K or Q.Flop: AJT with two of suit of his A.His opponent has like 2-3? He needs to catch running low cards to make a low (right now he only has A-2-3 to the low). It's not that hard...
  6. SUBSIN, you need to go re-read the original post and come back to me with a full detailed report on the exact cards and suits included. It is hard to have a straight flush with 3 different suits on board. Thank you.
    It's not the fact that there's 3 different suits, it's that the cards and suits don't match up in a straight + flush manner.A :D Q :D K :D 8 :) 3 :club: Straight flush: J :) T :)
  7. I didn't read the whole thread so someone probably pointed it out but the chance of an overpair beating an underpair is...the chance that the underpair will win (with KK vs 88 of diferent suites 88 has a 20% chance), thats all the formulating you need to do ><, then you just do it 100 times and it should be close to 20 times, do it 1000 times and so on... Your formula dosen't seem to be right, becuase it should include the sameple size (100 times, 1000 times, etc, each time it should get less of a percentage chance).Someone could end all these rigging threads by making a program that observed 10 games at a time. It would start recording the stats anytime someone went all in before the river is shown, then it would caculate chance they have to win, then record in weither they won or not, do this for all the hands that go all in for the day, and see what happens, although it would have to measure all'in's only, becuase after the flop if the person that bet lost (the time's that is going to most commonly have both players show their hands the percentages could get screwed up becuase there are more variables then just the cards percent chance to win). also it can't do it in retrospect, becuase AA vs KK going both going all in on a flop of 2 K 3 is going to happen, so it would screw up percentages).Ugh hopefully that wasen't just some unreadable paragraph that I wasted time on, very hard to put what I was thinking into words. Also I'm confident that online sites aren't rigged, so I could care less to write such a program myself. (unless anyone felt like playing me =P, just to prove that FTP is, or isn't, rigged =P).
Somebody actually tracked somewhere in the 100,000 hands range and found the percentages all lined up as can be reasonably expected (within +/- 3%). I don't have the site, but you can probably google/yahoo it.
