UPDATEI got the e-mail fromBob today. We will play Sun May 6th at 9:30. They feel that the way they have it set up will work and we will all be able to play. Bob also stepped up with a little something for the players to make up for the tourney not running as planned.While I am still not happy with the screw up I must say again Bob is the man. He really cares about the players. As long as Bob is With FCP so am I.

Since I seem to be the only B**thy player from this tourney. I do want to point out that the only reason I still play on this site is Bob. Out of all the sites that I have played on ( it seems like I have played on them all) the support at FCP but mostly Bob is the best I have seen. While I vent about being very unhappy about alot of things here on FCP ( DNA should know some of what I mean)The support is the very best.I thank you Bob for all you do for the players. It does not go unnoticed.

This was a special promotion that started when they started the guaranteed tourneys. To earn points you had to place in the top 5 of the 250, 350 or 500 daily tourneys or the 750 sat. tourney. The top 8 finishers got a seat at a final table where the prize is to be a one hour lesson w/ DN on the phone or pc. Then they held another mtt where the winner was also given a seat. then a drawing to fill the last seat.This promotion ended in the end of Febuary. We were told because of the way the network does it tourneys we had to wait for them to figure away for them to run it without a password as they did not want people who did not earn it to be able to play.Two months later we finally have a tourney date & time. The final seats had been filled. Then we go to play in it as we were all presigned up by the network or FCP. When we tried to take our seat it asked for a password. At no time were we given any password. Well only one player was able to play. While the rest of us could only watch. Astrozombie and myself went to the chatroom to tell ed the support person who was in there what was going on. We were told to wait as they stoped the tourney. The tourney then started back up 2 min. later without resetting. Bob came to the table and said that there was nothing we could do for last night . That we would have to reschedule for next weekend.Honestpirate the only player who could play is unable to make next weekend so now they have to find someway to make it up to her. Which means now there will most likely be at least one ghost in this 10 person tourney.While I understand crap happens. This just seams to be par for the course at the new FCP. As listed in my first post in this thread the promotions of late have sucked. Bust my hump to earn enough points in ring games (which I don't really like) to earn a shot at $5000 for DN"S home game. The tourney is filled with ghost players and the winner was seated at a table full of them while my table as well as others had 5 live and five ghosts. Not real fair as that person basicly started with 20000 chips to the rest starting with 2000.FCP & Bob have tried to make up for screw ups. How long till they get it right?STILL STEAMEDWhat the heck is this about exactly? -
Only one person was able to log in as it asked for a password. So the rest of us got to watch a honest pirate got all the chips.O.K. Please explain for someone who cant observe right now. -
So another screwed up fcp special tourney. First the ghosts in the home game w/ DN. The 3rd / 4th quarter neg-o opens & t.o.c. thet 5 mounths later have yet to happen. Now a special tourney that only one person gets to play. I understand Bob will get it rescheduled but really should we have to wait. Took two months to get to this point frome the end of the promotion.really tired of of all these screw up. Don't think I really want to play. If I win could take a year to get the prize. Or it could be like the 4th quarter prizes that went from a jersey to 5000 points. Maybe a call with DN is worth 3000 points.really steamed

Funny thing is at least one other site on this network sends out summarys for all tourneys.FYPI guess that they have some problems with the auto-genereated e-mails because when I have played some sng:s it says that I will get an tournament summary by e-mail but it never comes. Perhaps they have not implemented this into the software yet? There are actually many things I would like to see changed before all this works, but thats another story. Although the HH is one of the things I really would appreciate, but I would prefer if you didn't need to get an e-mail to see this. Maybe just an HH-window where I can type in the hand nr of the hand I am interested in or something like that. -
Here in Michigan, bingo halls are not only in churches, but also in large bingo halls.While it is not in a church the bingo halls are also run for charity. Each night a different charity runs the bingo. Some nights it will be a local democratic party other nights a runaway shelter or drug rehab center. the bingo only pays for rental of the building and the worker are volunteers.How do I know....bingo is my wifes addiction.but see thats the thing like the local bingo place near me is not near a church at all and its a fairly big place -

Since DN said in his last blog he will limit being online to 2 hours a day I am guessing this will still take quite a while.Maybe we should just scrap the 3rd & 4th quarter championships as well as the T.O.C. That way you only have to set up the1st quarter of this year and then DNA can still be the defending champ.yup, i updated everything on Friday. I am working with Patty to get all the championship SnGs coordinated, shooting for this month.Keep posted to this thread about the championship tournaments with Daniel. You will also get an email sent to your FCP registered email address with details so make sure that information is accurate. I will be giving at least a 1 week notice on here. -

This why I left bodog. They came out and said we were cheating. then they locked up our accounts.We asked for them to review our hand historys. We both told them we have never cheated. When they looked at our hand historys they then said they saw no proof of cheating and said we could then play agian. They said someone had reported us and their security team over reacted. So we try to get into a game together and it won't let us. I called support and was told that even though we did not cheat they could no longer allow us to play together. I cashed out and told them it was bs and to close my account.My freind still plays there. I would never go back and let them make another penny off of me.SCREW BODOG

Now can you take care of the neg-o tourneys for last year. just kidding I know dna & patty are working on thatYou'll be receiving the exact details in an e-mail tomorrow but the final tourney that you qualified for is Sunday April 29th at 9:30 PM ET.The players who have qualified for the preliminary were e-mailed yesterday and that tournament is Sunday April 22nd at 9:30 PM ET.Both tournaments are listed in the tourney lobby in the game client although neither is open for registration yet. -

I just logged on wingows(same network) to see I finished freeroll in 147 place and someone has over 200000 in chips. So I don't think that everyone cound not get on like Bob said. I wish we would hear some truth around here. I'm just about done with fcp.Support Is the only reason I am still here, and now that is not as good. I did live support last time and was lied to about other players being on the network. Looks like it has happened again.

American idol has nothing to do with talent. It has to do with trying to find the next teen idol that sells big. Record labels aren't interested in finding people that can sing. They have access to hundreds and hundreds of singers that can sing better than anyone on American Idol. They are looking for what sells to the teens of America. The little girls that are voting for Sanjaya think he's cute. Those same little girls spend lots of their parents money on teen music and teen magazines and concert tickets and all the crap that somebody like Sanjaya would put his name on or endorse.I agree 158%. If it was about talent then why did the judges let him get as far as they did.and yes AI is gay...........and maybe Clay Aiken is also.

I am glad you did thanks. When I heard someone talking at a table about a chip set I had no idea what they were talking about.Since I must have missed that news letter. So Thanks for pointing it out. And thanks to FCP for the bonus prize. Bob rocks.I really am not trying to start anything by posting that information. I knew I remembered seeing it somewhere and when I found it I thought I would share it with others. I like that you do admit when mistakes are made and try to atone for them. That is the main reason that I only have money on this poker site. I am not one of the 10, but that does should like a good compromise. -
Bob,That is why I stayed on this site. You guys really do work to go above and beyond when a mistake happens. I do feel that the ghost players made it impossible to win. So I will shoot you an e-mail later. Thanks again for the great service.

Well this is it my last day around here. First off I would like to thank Bob for every thing you have done when ever there was a problem. I would also like to thank Matt for the same. To the forum members thank you for all the laughs and all the help with my game.(though it didn't help that much I still suck. ) To Daniel Thanks for the one chance I had to play against you. I enjoyed reading your blog even if I didn't agree with alot of your views.I decided that when my poker money was gone so was I. ( I won't call it a roll since it was not that much.) To the person who broke me nice call with middle pair to bust my set. I tried to hold out for the 4th quarter sit-n-go with DN and the t.o.c.but 5 months later I could not last. So DNA if you happen to read this. I will not be playing if you ever get these scheduled.Wish I could have gotten my jersey. But oh well what you going to do.So the money is gone, the fcp points have been spent, and the last post written. Good luck to all in the future. If the switch happens to stars may you all win the millions. I hope for the sake of the forum members that your forum will last as long as you want it to.So long to my online community.
