imo thisalso (and this will be my last post about this cause I think the point is pretty obvious) Some random internet dude signing a contract does no good, that only worked for us last year cause we were all there in person.I mean, I'd LOVE to just go with people I know in real life, or someone else knows -
DNA bff bracket obviouslyDon't really know you. Anyone?Dont really know you either. Anyone? We need to come to some sort of conclusion on this. Luke was vouched for, I think Ace is the only one that has not been vouched for, but he did transfer $110 up front. -
The point is at some point if you were to win "we" would be handing you $1500 to register in the tourney (assuming the registration is the same as last year) and then if you were to cash we'd have to trust that you are gonna ship X amount of dollars back to all of us. We are not hurting for people to join this tourney so Id rather be selective instead of choosing the first randoms that post in the thread. I cant imagine that you dont understand the logic behind what Im saying.again though Im willing to drop out if Im out voted on this.lol. I'll tell you what. I'll ship $2200 to this tournament's director to hold if I win. So it would be my trust in him and nothing to do with anyone technically trusting me. -
Whoops forgot to bold your name didnt I?So who can swap $77? Have Tilt, need Stars. -
Post a video atleast 2 minutes long of you doing the Truffle Shuffle, and Im cool with you playingThat's a little ridiculous. I am willing to pay up front for everything and you still dont trust me and the other guys. Alright, I understand where you're coming from. Who can really trust a poker player anyway, lol. What do I have to do to get your trust for this? -
Unless someone else can vouch for the bolded names I vote that these people get dropped for other playersConfirmed Interest List:1) dna4ever - Initial $55 Received2) kobe2odom83) HubDub044) Suited_Up5) WhatARunAA - Initial $55 Received6) outsider13 - Initial $55 Received7) Naked_Cowboy8) Vick129) cubsfan44 - Initial $55 Received10) seacucumber - Initial $55 Received11) Sam_Hard8 - Initial $55 Received12) chgocubs99 - Initial $55 Received13) dreamcaster14) noflukeluke - Received Full $110 ($55 back at end of series)15) PocketAcesA5 16) cdipierr17) AAsnake8818) mtdesmoines19) Larons20) GWCGWCInterested, but not confirmed list:Zach6668Napa DonMoney received for people interested in 2nd pool (will be shipped back if 2nd pool not started):Moneyball16 - $55Rdog - $55 -
Alright Im gonna be a dick here.......Ship this guys money back and a couple of the others on that list should be replaced also. I dont feel comfortable having some randoms in this thing. edit: Im willing to back out of my spot if im in the minority here.Money shipped. -
I dont like the idea of having to play a 40 person tourney every Sunday
-
Can we keep this to people that are "known"?? We will be sending someone to Vegas with $1500 in their pocket and expecting them to register in a tourney and then if they cash ship money back to people. Id really prefer it if we could get 20 people that we all know.

You should only be looking to get 2 streets of value with hands like these. Id check back the turn as well here and then look to put in a vb on the river. As played it looks like a blocker bet to me so Id make the call, youre getting a pretty good price also.It really sucks that the games are the best i've ever seen today but my head is scrambled and i'm playing pretty poorly today. Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (6 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comUTG ($23)MP ($33.15)CO ($17.40)Button ($50)SB ($78.45)Hero (BB) ($71.20)Preflop: Hero is BB with 10 , Q 4 folds, SB calls $0.25, Hero raises to $2, SB calls $1.50Flop: ($4) 10 , 4 , 3 (2 players)SB bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50Turn: ($9) 6 (2 players)SB checks, Hero bets $6, SB calls $6River: ($21) 8 (2 players)SB bets $9.50, Hero? Villain is playing 20/11/3.4 over 80 hands. He seems fairly erratic and I've seen him lead the turn after being raised on the flop OOP and fold to a shove in a pretty big pot (I think he has TP3rd kicker). I think the pre-flop/flop/turn are standard, and i'm reading hands so bad today I don't really know what to do on the river. Thoughts? -
Yeah I dont listen to much "new" music anymore but I really really dig that song. That was really good -
I dig this band esp this song

Someone put this guy in charge of somethingYou should have everybody ship half the buyin at the beginning to ensure that people are serious and make the Tournaments $5.50 buyins so that you are paying less rake to Poker Stars. You're welcome. -
Id rather it be less then 50% also, but Ill go with whatever is decidedyea like give out 30 percent or somethig total.. and whoever did the best in the league gets the most percentage points. -
As long as everyone that gets in is trustworthy then I dont care, but if there is a question about anyone that is in then they should escrowI'd agree, but that's a lot of transferring. -
Are you up or down on the month now?My MT ratio on the month is 2.5.I almost always have 4 open at once ready to play assuming the right people sit.Although this morning I played anyone that sat, reg or not, shortstacker or not. -
I say escrow the $110 btw. Then whoever holds the moola (dna?) can ship $11 back before the start of each tourney
-
We all got a little over a hundred if I remeber right.Count me in DNAFor a $1500 buyin event (of which there will apparently be less this year...), meh. Also, I can see potential issue in getting people to ship you the winnings when it's the last week or whatever and they have no chance at all of getting the package, but take down the tourney. What did the group get off Zach's 11th place finish last year?oh, and lol to the "if you can't make it one week, register and get blinded out". I'd be pretty pissed if I did make it that week and ended up getting a lower spot than a guy who didn't bother to show up. -
How many tables are you playing?Lunchbreak time.Got in 1,146 hands in the morning session. It took 3 hours. -
Jesse why not barrel that turn rather then c/r. I think he calls a barrel with a lot wider range then he bets the turn with after you check to him. I agree with Rdog that he isnt (or atleast shouldnt be) betting pair +draw hands, but he'll call or shove over your barrel with em. I dont like c/raising there at all

What about having 2 seperate 20 man tournies each week but randomly choose who plays in each that way we only have to play 20 man tournies (shorter) but still get to have 40 players? May be too complicated to bother with.....
