I don't disagree with any of this, I just don't think this is the sole reason for them not being a playoff team. They could drastically improve next year (they probably won't) and still be worst than Denver, Kansas City, and San Diego..and that is just their own division..much less the entire AFC.They're one of those teams who can swing real far one way or real far the other. They need to trim a lot of the fat(Warren Sapp, Kerry Collins, Charles Woodson) and bring in a good young coach to light a fire the way that Gruden did.
