hey guys, lastest update i got is I went a few vigils in the past day. Went to the Pike house yesterday to pay my respects to 2 sorority girls in the hospital recovering and the Pike that died in this tragedy. It went real well, very inspiring and touching to see the entire greek community put all their differences and rivalries aside to unite as one community. Went to a couple more vigils today, really good to see all the support. Really sucks everybody pretty much went home today, the campus is pretty much deserted. I can only be optimistic and hope we learn, while growing stronger through all of this. Keeping all the familes of the victims of this tragedy in my prayers.

thanks for all the kind words everybodyThe one thing that I am really pissed about is that for the last 5 hours or so, I have been hearing people bitch about our security and needing a better defense for this type of thing, when the truth is how do u prepare for this?My take on this is you can't prevent shit like this. If some psycho decides to just put a gun under their coat or in their bookbag, you can't stop or prepare for that. I am soo sick of hearing people, parents especially bashing our school because of this terrible event. I think it is very unfortunate that something like this happened but in reality, you can't prevent or stop things like this. We live in a very sick world, and everyday I think less of us as a society.

alright guys the update now is everyone I know is ok and all my brothers of my fraternity are fine too. Unfortunately two freshman girls from a sorority close to ours are in critical condition, and also a Pike, my age that a few of my friends know has been pronounced dead. Things seem to be getting worse as more info is being announced.

yea basically, the basic info I know is.This happened at Cole Hall, it's a lecture room that can hold up to like 500 ppl. Prolly only like 200ish ppl in the room when this happened. In the front, there is a stage with curtains where the professor would be. I guess the gunman popped out from that area behind the curtains with a ski mask that had a shotgun and a pistol. And we had a death threat on our finals week at the end of last semester, don't know if theres any connection.A freshman sorority girl has gotten shot from what I heard.Man.so lame potatoes. glad you're ok.also,FCP beats CNN for news update? -

Gonna still stay here at my frat for the weekend. Already called my parents, just tons of panic all over the campus going on right now.Watching CLTV, it says classes cancelled tonight/tomorrow and reccomending people to head home...You sticking or going home? -
Update is gunman is dead and up to 18 dead/injured. Helicopters all over the place.Also, I've had classes in this builidng Cole many times, this is the worse possible building for a shooting to take place. Cole Hall is essentially 2 500 person lecture halls.

Alright so this is absolutely crazy, there is a shooting at my school Northern Illinois University. The building it took place at is right next to where I was just in class. We had a possible threat last semester right before finals so people are thinking this is related. Luckily noone I know is hurt.

So I have only been playing Madden 08 on PS2 recently, and a few days ago none of my files will load. When I looked at my memory card in the browser, it says there are 4 corrupted data files, the big problem is it won't let me delete them. Anyone have this problem or know how I can get rid of this crap?
