  1. HEE-larious.  They will defend him on any issue no matter what.  Take the dreamclown issue.  99% of the players on the net would have requested DN reload or look for anotehr game as the positive expectation is severely diminished when gambling to win a little stack vs. the possibility of losing your stack to him on a few lucky draw outs.  Yet you DN hiney lickers argue other wise!  Its hilarious.
Phishy, haven't seen u 4 awhile, r u still crushing the nl games for 100BB/hr...or did the imaginary tables dry up?
cashed out about 8K. Now killing the Bodog omaha tables. You still jealous?
you're an idiot.you play low limits, you need that 8k to go up in limits, man you suck.seriously, you're an idiot, youreally shouldnt have cashed thatout, arent you supposed to play just blaze heads up?
He will now be killing the play money tables
  2. Daniel, let me see if I can explain this to you in a way that you might understand. Lets say that you sit down with $500k, and Bill Gates sits with you and he puts up $1.5 million. He says that he's going to play some of these hands blind. First hand, you get dealt AK, and he pushes his $1.5 mill. What do you do? What are your odds? Next hand you get QQ, and he pushes in again. What do you do? What are your odds?  The fact is, you don't know. Why is it that everyone always thinks the "maniac" has 10-3 or 7-2? That's a ridiculous, and possibly very costly assumption. What if he DID have 7-2 against your AK? Would you do it? Would you risk your $500 thousand on 60% odds? What about 70%? Seriously? The point is Daniel is that you have forced the opponent to GAMBLE. You've taken all the SKILL out of the game. Do you get this at all? Do you understand Dreamclown's position at all? He wasn't willing to continue playing when he felt his skill advantage had been reduced to a coin flip.Man, why to I bother replying......
Just one thing... Please Daniel, do not respond to IndyJoe anymore. Please, do not respond to somebody who would not bet his money when he knows he is a 60% favorite (not even a 70%!). Please, he might be 6 years old. There are a lot of great (and funny) posts in this forum about a lot of different subjects that I would like your opinion on, this is not one of them.
  3. STOP COMPLAINING !!!!!!!!!!!!!! For months all I've heard is everyone talking about how much they wanted DN to start his own poker room. He did it. Why isn't everyone happy? For legal reasons he can't own FCP if it has a poker room. It's just that simple. You can't have it both ways. I'm sure he still has control of the parts of the site that really matter to us such as the forum. This is a good thing. He hasn't sold out.
  4. its not a pokerroom skin it IS pokerroom with a Fullcontactpoker skin! The site is linked directly to pokerroom aka you play tournaments with people who play at pokerroom.
I can tell you're gonna add a lot of informative posts. Keep it up.
    :club::D:D :twisted:
  5. I have just received the new PokerRoom Magazine through mail today. I have to say that they are not cheap with the quality of paper they used! Anybody else has received the magazine?I am not sure if DN has made the right choice to go with a skin instead of starting a new poker site from scratch but he did it and made the right decision to do it with PokerRoom. I mean, I do not see any better site to do a skin of. Still unsure though if the skin way was the right way...

  6. He called 1:1 for a 3:1 draw
The other guy has also one overcard.
he's probably thinking "screw it, if my flush doesnt hit, it wasnt meant to be"
Yes sir, you're right. So many people play sit'n'go like this after they see the flop. That's why I think that pre-flop options are fold or all-in when you are short stack on the button.
  7. Good day,First time we talk. I think your opponent call is fine. He did not know that of course but he had around 45% chance of winning the hand after the flop therefore his 1000 call to win 2800 is fine. A lot of people in sit'n'gos will go all in when they hit their 4-card flush on the flop. This being said I think that your play pre-flop was incorrect. I mean you were on the button so there were 3 more hands before you had to pay the BB again. I think that if you feel low on chips comparing to the blinds, go all-in pre-flop to steal the blinds when you are on the button. Raising 4 times the big blind here with your stack size was just giving him a cheap flop to see. So pretty much I think you had only two choices pre=flop: all-in or fold.

  8. When I play on-line and I need a specific card to come out, I always invisibly draw the number, letter and/or suit of the card I need with the mouse.I have no data to back up my "strategy"...
I may be a little wacky with mine......But......You are fukin' nuts.
You sound like my therapist. Damn, do I have to overpay you also?
  9. I should not have thrown that last sentence about Bush in my post ( I only wrote about my thought of not enough money spent at home, too much overseas). I did not want to talk politics, only to comment on the blog as it is supposed to be done in this part of the Forum.I agree about the crime watch idea and the poeple of the neighborhood coming together and try to find a solution. I still think though it should all be initiated by the police itself and that they should increase surveillance in the neighborhood by doing more patrol. This is the least the cops should do and crime rate raise in an area...

  10. shut up you stupid canadian.and no, i'm not just assuming you are stupid cause you are canadian. i like lots of them.im now awaiting the response about my american censored, etc...something like that.but everything is bush's fault. even katrina. we control the weather.- Jordan
You took it the wrong way. Nowhere did I say it's the people's fault or that I hate US citizens! I think Bush is spending his budget at the wrong place. "we control the weather", I do not think you should speak for everybody. Also, I still do not know your thought about nice people having to move out of their neighborhood.
  11. Living in Québec, I know the Provincial Government, as always, is missing the boat here with Poker. They are way too slow to adapt the Law. The Casino de Montréal is moving in few months/years, there are rumors about getting a poker room. I just cannot imagine the wait for a seat...So many people are now playing poker in Québec, it's getting absurd. If you speak French, here is a great website and a great community to meet players and get infos about tournaments www.princepoker.com

  12. "Anyway, the cop and I talked poker, taxes, rich people, and thugs. We then talked about the area that I live in. It's time for a move and I already knew that. More and more robberies are happening in my area and while it's a nice place to live, I plan on moving shortly to a much safer area. With Lori to think about, I don't want anything to happen while she’s at home."This was from Murphy's Law blog entry (sorry if it was 10 days ago). I just wanted to say how sad it is when you hear a cop tell you that he knows there were a lot of robberies going on in your neighborhood and the solution is to move out of the area. I mean, it is not the cop's fault, but I am sure the right thing would be to get to it, arrest the criminals and keep the area safe... IT'S YOUR JOB!!! Am I the only one here who think that there is something wrong?? "Ladies and Gentlemen, your area, which was a great place to live in a few months ago, has now seen more and more criminal activities. We would request that you move out of there while we are doing f*** all in the meantime. Thank you for your cooperation".Unbelievable. Mr. Bush, keep trying cleaning up the Middle East while at home nice people have to move out of there neighborhood to feel safe. Everything is juuuust fine.

  13. Desolee, mais je ne peux pas parle si bien le francais parce que je ne l'ai pas etudie il y a cinq ans, plus ou moins. Cependant, je ne suis pas un ane, et je te parlerai salement s'il te satisfais.P.S. Essayez mon cafe delicieux!
I hate the French. And French Canadians are sellouts.
sorry, but French Canadian females can suck a golfball through 100 feet of gardenhose. God bless the University of Southern California :club:
Still hate racists and racists' comments... this is being said though, thank God my wife never went to USC... ouch!

I hate racists.Dunkin, not bad at all. You have to work on your sentence structure but your choice of words is pretty good. I am impress of your "je te parlerai"...
  15. Good day all,Some of you are good/great poker players and like everybody else you had to start from the start, i.e. learning the game, loosing money and breaking even.I do not consider myself one of them yet. But, now after close to 4 years of on-line and B&M poker (reading books, forums, etc...) something odd seems to be happening to me. It happened a few weeks ago. Everything seems more logic, more clear now at the table. I do not know how to explain it, it is like I was playing in a dark room and somebody just turned on the light. I am sure it is a dimmer light and it still can be brighter but still a lot of things, at a poker table, seem to make more sense now.My question is, did you guys also at one time (or more) in your poker life had felt that sensation that everything is now "clicking"?Thank you.p.s. Before somebody ask me the question, I do not have a lot to show in the past few weeks as wins ot support what I have just said. The last 2 weeks on PokerStars have been 60FP turned to 6000FP on a Monte Carlo Satellite, won two satellites for the $215 tourney (one limit, one no-limit) from which I withdrew to take Tournament $, one $50+$5 sit'n'go win, my first MTT win ($20+$2, 20 tables, 180 players, $1,080).

  16. they run a very beginner 2/4 game a couple days a week, usually have a few 5/10 tables going and a couple 10/20s. sometimes a 15/30. in my limited experience, the 5/10 games were pretty loose/aggressive, staffed by a bunch of break-even/losing regulars. didn't play 10/20.beautiful city, good luck.daniel
Thank you very much for the details. I am ok with B&M $5/$10 but $10/$20 is too high for me, my wife, my daughters and my bankroll! :-)
