  1. Here are the results....... Vilan had T8o and I won a quick $20but that is irrevalent. I think a call is the play that has a better EV and would pretty much require him to get lucky to win the match....I am not sure there are too many who play the first hand of a SnG like TP 8 kicker is the nuts......
  2. Isnt it very close to the pot? THus not too large.....In any manner I advocate just calling.....if you win you cripple him pretty bad and if you lose you still have approx $1000.

  4. Lot of questions here...Was he trying to limp every hand from the button? Thus is his range every piece of garbage possible? FRom my exerience...it is rare that a player at the $10 is range shifting gears...So at a minimum you will see better than top pair here......anything from worse two pair to better (Q4)and the 56o. Hands you beat:34 24, QT+ and the bluffHands you lose to QJ, Q4,Q3, Q2, J4, J3, J2, 56, A5 sorry my poker stove is not working properly....need reinstall but, equity looks unfavorable for a push. You will never fold out a better hand. Thus the thing to ask here is what
  5. Why would you call lighter in the first hand of a SnG when you are deeper than the first hand of a ring game? When the hand is over the game is over and you move to a new opponent and your chance to take the money of a possibily weaker player is gone? I am not disagreeing with you but, this is the main reason I posted the question.
  6. Good point about having a plan before I re-raised.....Yet I thought about it and I thought he may have 2 pair at best not a set. Limping the button with a middle pair HU is pretty bad, so I did not think a set was likely? Thus I thought there was a good enough chance for flush draw or just a donk with another TP I called....THe reason questio is in a HU cash game I snap call here but in the SnG...no reload.
  7. Its the first hand of a HU SnG...what do you stack off with?I have never played the villain. I usually take it easy the first few hands to fel out my opponent but I do not like limping AT...Hitting an Ace then not knwoing if the opponent is nuts or hit a nasty 2 pair with a 74o tyoe hand.....$20+2 SnGBLinds 5/10I'm in BB with Asvillain limpsI raise to 75.Villain callsFLop I lead for 90Vilian raises to 180I re-raise to 480Villain shoves.Hero???....Call? THere is a lot off poker to play...
  8. I do not play many tourney's. So I am curious as to what others say about this hand...I do not have the hand history but remember the details....Sorry for the format...Blinds are 400/800 with a 100 ante full table. Tourney is down to 26 from starting 490. Average stack is I am in the BB with 12k (after posting)an aggressive player who has me covered with 28k opens for 2500. everyone else folds. Thus the pot is 4600.I think he calls a shove with a wide variety I have I decide to go for a stop and go and shove any flop. Since he is likely to not connect with two overs and if he has a middle
  9. They will beat you without looking at your cards. Out of 100 Tourneys? or hands? Tourneys = everytime.Cheers
  10. Card rooms are turning up all over the place. I am in Dallas and there are 4 card rooms within a 5 mile radius of my house. Do a google search and see what shows up.
  11. If you have any chance in the WSOP main event, you should be able to earn a seat by spending the $1040 (probally less) to enter Satellite Tournaments.Good Luck..
