lbm smd etc.3 - love the way you played that4- I would pop this here, but wow that would have been a bad result14- 50/50 cbet for me 3 handed here, not a whole lot of draws they could have here30 - i would call flop bet here especially how active he was and reevaluate turn41 - ipits48 - meh - like the block bet, not much else about the hand though52 - asodfjasdoifasjdoif69 - ipits74 - sick hold89 - playing hand passive puts decision on you - bad decision on river obv, maybe minraise turn to get to cheap showdown/make decision easier on you.103- dont mind fold pre here...i was honestly surprised when you didnt (nit)111- yessss112 - wow, i def limp there, saved you though... JTs in position in multi way pot is goot205 - when did bubble break - borderline spot for a squeeze though folding is fine252, 257, 264, 272 - You have the next thing to no fold equity on all of these shoves, I dont know how they all go through lol. Good shoves imo279 - I called that 9... good friends call for cards that help their friends... not vice versa fyi294 - yes good fold299 - you phandled the beat well...laptop survived etc, +ev imoOverall - definitely well played, avoiding playing big pots with marginal hands and picking spots to steal and realizing how table image would be affected by multiple steal attempts in a row (like one hand you folded A8 the hand after stealing with JT). Pretty sick you get as far as you did with a PUFF of 8 imo... I don't remember seeing AK once, and only remember you getting 0 action with AA and KK once each
  2. not sure if non pxf subs can view this but here ya go.http://www.pokerxfactor.com/HA119939/750k/19085just make sure u dont skip after hand like 200... cuz u can see how nitty i was.edit: dont know about your 2nd question.... i know that ftp's mtt histories give them to me as like 5-6 different documents (i assume its every time i table change.. or most of the times... ) I just copy paste in notepad and then upload the full hh.
biggest nit ever imo...folding 2s??Dude, i got going so well in the 11.5k last night and then my AA ran into QJ.. Ran so bad last night lol.PS fu4the3

  4. I agree with everything that you said. Thing is, none of this is Obama's fault. He HASN'T gone on a negative campaign while the bitch decided, "Heck, we can't win anyway, let's just go nuts and yell about how bad Obama sucks." It worked, and now she is back in the race. It has been a sad week. They are going to have to spend a ton more money and if she really cared about the Dems winning she would have bowed out, not gone on the monster attack, and realized that all this plays into the GOP's hands. Pretty sick, but this is like the only way McCain would have had a shot, and unless Obama can continue to spin all of this without looking really bad, McCain will be president and I will be blogging from Barcelona...
Hi Daniel :)I think the only way to counteract the negative effects of this drawnout campaign will be to have an Obama/Clinton (hopefully) or Clinton/Obama ticket.I think that is what this is headed for.
  5. The fact that we just reshoved on him makes this even MORE of an insta shove imo.Think about it from brit's perspective, he's going to call you with a wider range here than usual which is what we want. The thing that worries me is his raise size... is that a standard open for him?

  6. Unless I'm reading this wrong you have 16 BBs, which is a very playable stack. I don't think theres many hands that shoving here is the best play.I wouldn't mind a shove with some smaller pairs that don't flop well out of position, but in general, if I have a hand strong enough to go all the way with here this deep, I'd rather raise it, and hope to get reraised by someone making a play to get all of my chips in the middle.Once you get down to like 7 - 10 BBs, shoving is much more acceptable with antes taken into account imo.

  7. For simplicity and paying out reaons would it be best to go with 100 dollar shares??? as opposed to 50 dollar shares, or is really the same thing?????????Thanks a ton guys.
Its the same thing, except it makes it easier for smaller investors to get a share and also more work involved on your end.$50 shares = 770 shares$100 shares = 385 shares$385 shares = 100 sharesIn the stock market, if a 1000$ share splits into 20 50$ shares, an owner of one old share still owns the same amount of the company when they receive 20 of the new shares. Same concept.
  8. I think your analysis is fine, with 1. being a huge backup to why folding will never be a large mistake could be a slight mistake, but lets remember we are playing tournies for the long run and in the long run getting 2-1 you look for every reason why you should call not why you should fold. This is the exact point I'm trying to make, if you have been active around the bubble (I'm assuming you have with your stack and that you post on FCP so you should know the concept) a lot of people understand that you are raising light and decide to shove on you. IMO people give to much credit to the average players completely fearing the bubble and only playing premium hands. In a 4$ tourney people are much more driven by I HAZZ TWO FIVVESS, ALLLLLINNN then thinking about busting on the bubble etc.He showed up with 55 and you were in a great spot with a coin flip, factoring in your own image is really important and raising on the button with a big stack on the bubble spells steal to many players looking to get their hands on some chips. To say that you have 3 outs etc 90% is overestimating the tightness of players, it might be a little diff if you raised utg and he shoved utg+2 you and he had been tight etc.Alot of gibberish in that post mixed in from peoples replies hope this helps some people.
For some reason, I read this as a MP raise and a button shove.... not sure why. That makes his range a bit wider here imo, and I don't dislike the call nearly as much.Imo, even a tighter image goes out the window when a big stack raises on the button close to a bubble.
  9. 55. I hit the A, he rivered a 5.I called for 2 reasons:1. Odds2. I put him on a wider range because of the fact that I was on the button and it was a stealing position, so I figured that he could be shoving any 2 face, medium to high pocket pair. I didn't necessarily put him on a big hand. Maybe I was just trying to convince myself that he didn't have a huge hand, given the odds.
BS river.. you run like me.In any case, thats a pretty light shove on the bubble. If you had a read that he is the type of player that is shoving wide here, then your call is fine. Just in general, a reshove on the bubble from a player who has a stack securely in the money is generally very strong.
  10. There are lots of times in tourneys where while you are raising light you get shoved on and are getting great odds, although most of the time they are going to have a hand here, there are still people out there that will make this move with kT and any pair. Also it depends on how this guy is playing, has he shoved a couple times, if he has'nt played anything at all and you know this guy's range is like QQ+ AK then maybe I could fold here but your getting slightly better than 2-1 and will not be knocked out, if you lose this hand your still in the tourney but winning hands like this are what wins tourneys because you will have a large enough stack that you can abuse at will and not fear shorties.
Normally I agree. However this is THE bubble. If this guy loses this hand he makes $0. Taking that into account as a huge factor in narrowing his range, this is a fold for me.
  11. I definitely see your point here. And I will definitely think about this the next time. But also as Silky said I would have a nice stack if I do win.
You have a nice stack now.Ask yourself... what hands would I do this with (putting yourself in villains shoes) on the tourney bubble when I could easily fold and take a conservative approach?I think he shows up with hands that have you drawing to 3 outs like 90% of the time here.Abusing the bubble = raising wide, but folding when you catch resistance from someone who HAS to have a hand to play back at you imo. There are hands to call reshoves with, but A9 plays so bad against his reshoving range here, so I think a fold is optimal. So what'd he have?

IPITS... Trips are so overplayed, he could EASILY have a better jack here or have turned a spade flush. Might as well try to induce a bluff, I don't think we're ahead very often here, but the price is decent.
  13. I remember the TJ hand you mention, i can't remember the stack sizes but they were deeper than this weren't they? It's a point to consider, but i really don't think anyone acctualy thinks that high in a SNG against an unknown. Also, i don't think people should discount an ace from his range either.I don't think i like the call PF as well, i'm suprised no one's mentioned that yet,
The guy bet about 1M on the turn and TJ moved in for less than 3M if I remember correctly.
  14. You are getting roughly 2-1 right? Obviously you are behind but getting these odds I probably call and hope to suck out and build a huge stack that you can abuse the bubble with even more.
My argument is that A9 is absolutely smashed by the range of a guy who is shoving in on the bubble (and doesnt need to) into a stack he doesnt think he's getting to fold much. Not to mention if you win the hand there is no bubble to abuse anymore.
  15. 1. Decide how much you want each share to be worth, it really doesnt matter except for maintenance purposes with dividing out payments. With smaller shares, you're likely to have more investors which could be a bish.2. Divide total buyins by value of shares to get number of shares3. Pay back total buy-ins first, then divide 50% of profit over the shares. So lets say you have 38.5k in buyins and want to do 385 $100 shares. You cash for 200k (conservative estimate obvvv). Each share is owed $100 + 161.5k / 2 / 385 or like $310 bucksWhat I would do is sell the shares for the absolute minimum # of buyins you will have. If you oversell shares, that coudl be a big problem. If you undersell, just count the rest of the shares as your own.

  16. My question is does anyone think that maybe Hero should raise more PF? I mean, I know with that flop I'm also going broke, but could anything have been done PF, other than going all in? Is Hero's r/r fine?
I like the way the hand was played. Raising a lot more preflop telegraphs the hand whereas, the way it was played it could be a lot of (very strong) hands. Think about how you would play this hand if it were AA or KK... you wouldn't be making some enormous rasie. Basically, we got what we wanted, 77 can't continue with this hand without flopping a set in most cases.

I guess I really don't get what you're trying to accomplish here. Blasting in MP for 24ish BBs with AQs can't be a winning play. You got lucky here that a weaker hand called you, but I like a standard raise here. Way too deep to be open shoving a hand like this imo.Raising and then calling a shoves gives weaker hands a chance to get themselves into trouble.
