  1. I was playing 3 way. I was big blind and small folded, left me and button. I was shortstacked, but not dramatically. Button raised (very small). I called hoping to pair up my queen. The flop was Q-4-rag. I bet moderatly heavy. He called and we saw a flop. Turn came up an 8. This made me two pair, money wise leaving me with all-in or nothing. I went all in, he called and flipped over his pocket 4's, making him with trip 4's . [Opponent background- plays tight and moderatly conservative]*** Given my chip situation, what thought process could I have used to maybe sniff out the pocket 4's? ***
  2. I play in a 20 person multi table tourny usually twice a month and we usually start out with 130 in chips. The guy who hosts this doesnt like the games to drag on, so he keeps the blinds pretty agressive. We start out at 2,4 and blinds go up every 10 minutes. After 5,10 they jump to 10,15 to 15,30 to 30,60 and so on... It's impossible to keep track of your opponents and your cards with such crazy blinds breathing down your neck. Playing Top Tier hands can only get you so far before you have to make some moves or catch some cards... Anyone have some intelligent advice for an intermediate Ho
