  1. This is my first time with a real money account at Poker Stars. I used to play at UB, primarily PL Omaha 8/b and NL Holdem though. So basically this is my first time using a real money account exclusively for limit HL.I bought in for $50 and have been playing .25/.50 Is this limit too high for such a small buyin? If so, what kind of bankroll should I have to support a .25/.50 game and when should I move up limits, etc.
  2. It's 7:14 AM EST and I can't connect. Anyone else feelin me?
  3. The hands I had to worry about with the capped action before the flop were AA, KK, and QQ.So when the flop got checked around to me, I was pretty sure JJ was the best hand at that moment (and it was)
  4. I brought in $15 to the table and played ~200 hands. Ended up with 19.25, not an amazingly profitable session, but not bad either. Here are a few hands you might want to discuss.------------------PokerStars Game #1253446547: Hold'em Limit ($0.25/$0.50) - 2005/02/22 -09:11:07 (ET)Table 'Buryatia' Seat #2 is the buttonSeat 1: nelijo11 ($8 in chips) Seat 2: bull7272 ($8.90 in chips) Seat 3: Mopsie ($14.90 in chips) Seat 4: SlippyJacks ($15.60 in chips) Seat 5: T&J's Mom ($18.25 in chips) Seat 7: BPV3 ($16.95 in chips) Seat 8: Kiowa05 ($4.40 in chips) Seat 9: snacher ($9.75 in chips) Seat 10:

  8. How did you fare? Also an interesting post titled "poker logistics" or something like that you might want to answer.
  9. The game Daniel is referring to is probably regulated mostly by the players. I don't know if they bring cash to the games or not at those stakes. But I have seen games in Tunica where players bring 100,000 cash in bags and sit at a table. To buy chips, they just place a stack of bills on the table, at which point that cash is protected with the rest of the cash for that table. Then you receieve chips for the cash you gave, and you play.I am guessing that they prefer to keep the "logistics" of the big game pretty private however. The deatils of any game where that kind of money switches place t

  12. Smash is dead on here. Most Americans seem swindled by our administration's "look here, not over here" magic trick.Just because someone dug up one "touching" story about the war in Iraq doesn't make up for this.. 20. it's not like these guys wrote a book called "how to cheat at poker and why it's the right thing to do"some of you act like you have never done the "wrong thing" before. whenever money is on the line, people are always looking for a little edge. that's how you make money. do you think bill gates is a billionaire because he is a moral and sensitive man?i'm not trying to say they did the right thing, but this is a ****ing poker forum, go be over sensitive elsewhere.and seriously, do any of you REALLY care? are you going to tell your girlfriend about it or ponder it before you go to sleep? so all
