  1. I shrug and move all my chips to the middle. I think you could be ahead PF raiser could have something along the lines of AKhh short stack could have paired the board (not this hand matters with stack size). no matter what you have outs and as long as your not looking at 9T which being you have 99 isn't likely you are still very live. If you are going for 1st I think you have to take your shot here. Blinds go up way to fast in these things and you need to gamble here IMO

  2. Of course.. *If* we're good we still have to duck 2 streets worth of nonse, and any heart or board pair kills a hand we're not certain is ahead in the first place. Still, we'd have heard strongly from AJ by now.. it's certainly not a board for slow playing.1.) Come to the realization that you are on the most skilled .25/.50 table in FTP history.2.) Tell Antistuff to gtfo of your game and stop c0ckblocking.

  3. the bad end of a straight is very meh.the k9 straight is death.preflop is pretty standard to me. i think you played it good.question though - what happens if you get 3 bet on the turn?
I would call and really hope the board pairs on the end. barring any reads I may have had I would have just called down the whole way from the flop fwiw
  4. 13 people total, top 3 get paid so we're on the bubble. I had been card dead for most of the tournament, and clawed my way back from about 4 big blinds when we were 6 handed. I'd played with button the whole time, and they were a huge donk who had gotten very lucky. No Sharkscope information on them, and I'm pretty sure it was their first O8 tournament. Did I play this correctly? I'm trying to figure out if I had the right tournament strategy in mind when I played this hand.
meh I don't mind limping in the SB, but obviously I wouldn't mind a fold here either. After the flop I think I'd go with a check call depending on action and try to get to show down cheaply unless I improve. Shoving on a safe turn card maybe is an option as well but prob not the play I'd go with in a "Tourney Setting"

  6. you need to get your ass up our limits. i think you're good enough where i would even take a piece and help you out with some coaching (not entirely pro bono, like i said i would take a piece).
lol... I've been kinda pussy about it. Something about buying in for $5 and being 100bbs deep is nice not to mention I'm crushing the games on a regular basis. I'm up another hundo since the last time I talked to you. That's playing on avg 7 1/2 hrs per wk and cashing in on $60-$100 per wk. not too shabby IMHO
  7. My lord, Deb and her daughter have been watching some god awful musical, Mama Mia and if it don't end soon I'm going to drive an icepick in my ear. I swear it's so bad I heard some old ladies screeching ABBA out there.the only thing saving me right now is some delicious apple pie and ice cream
My wife put this shit in and I immediately went to the pc loaded up some stars put on headphones and multitabled in to the night. If you have to draw a line somewhere fkn musicals is that place IMO
