  1. ESPN.com had an article with WSOP tournament director Pollack who announced that he was developing a player's advisory committee. It stated that he had already been in discussions with a couple people to be be on the committee. Daniel mentioned in his blog last week that he had dinner with Pollack, but couldn't reveal what they discussed. Since Daniel was a very vocal in his displeasure of the 2006 WS schedule, it sure appears likely to me that he was asked to part of the committee.
  2. Thanks Peter for the reply. And Yes, all of the above scenarios were based on the assumption that the Kd was exposed.
  3. Jordan, the KK and AA were examples dealing specifically with an exposed K. Obviously the AA you wouldn't fold, but would you push it more knowing that the King is gone. What about QJ suited diamonds. Would you be more or less likely to play it knowing one of your straight and flush cards is gone ?
  4. Been lurking in the forums for a while, finally decided to post a question. This might be an easy one for most, but I would really appreciate some advice. I was playing in a live tourney at the Borgata last Friday (ended up finishing 8th). In one of the hands, during the deal, the Kd was exposed. It became the burn card. When the action came to me, I looked down to find Ah Kc. I thought for a moment and then folded. My reasoning was that if I run into a pocket pair, one of my outs is already gone. I thought about this hand for a while after the tourney. Two questions come to mind..
