  1. Yeah, they carved out the stuff about horse racing and it's gaining a lot of momentum. Since a lot of people prematurely relaxed, this thing could easily fly in under the radar. We need people calling these two senators now. There's no need to worry about your phone being traced. You're calling to say that you don't think anti-gambling legislation should be attached to an unrelated bill. You're exercising your right as an American by contacting these senators. They represent you in the legislature; they are your voice in government. There's nothing illegal about that. Please, everybody call cal
  2. Here's the problem (as of this Friday): When you call your senator, you usually talk to an aide who will take note of your opinion and pass it along to the senator. It's nothing to be afraid of, and usually the calls take about 30 seconds. It's the least we can do to preserve our way of life. If you're reading this, you should be calling 1) Senator John W. 5. Huh? It shouldn't. That's really dumb. You're neglecting the fact that you might already be ahead for high, and your low draw might also be good. Also, you're almost always facing redraws in a multiway omaha pot. This is the one part of your post that I agree with. Check-calling the flop from the CO is very weak. The person who played this hand has very little usable information since he has taken the most passive option at every point in the hand.
  6. Shouldn't you be using the pot size instead of the amount you've personally contributed when making poker decisions?

If not, how should it have been pla
  8. Against a total donkey like this, I would bet the turn and take the free showdown. You can't ever be that far behind with a 9 out draw to the nuts, ace high and one overcard. This guy could be calling with as little as a naked 7, J, or one overcard. The people saying to bet/fold the rive after betting the turnr: WTF? You have tons of showdown value. This guy is calling with any pair and probably ace-high. A bet here only loses money, it's awful.
