wsop preliminary events

im not sure how much play there will be in the preliminary events at the world series this year. you get the number of chips you buy in for in each event, and they all start at 25-25 and go up from there. so in a 1500 dollar event youre only starting with 60bb and after three levels blinds will be 50-100. blind levels will last an hour, but for all the no limit event they are axpecting max capacity at 2000 players. the entire event held in one day except for the final table, which is held the following afternoon. any thoughts on this structure? it seems like its going to be hard to wade through 2k people in a day or the blinds are just going to get rediculus.
