i thought i knew what tilt was but incredibly i now know i had never experienced it before last night, where i gave away a fair bit of money in a few stupid pots because i was unfocused and pissed off.my gf was hassling me about a bunch of unrelated shit i had no control over. i was trying to watch a movie and kept having to pause it because of her, then gave up on the movie and logged into my poker site.what a bad move; i should never have played in that state. thank god the damage wasn't worse and i wised up and got the hell out rather than trying to "win it back NOW!" even though that urge was there and very hard to suppress. what a feeling.seriously. i thought i knew what tilt was before last night. i had no idea how it can get you off your game. i guess that's another part of poker...
