Whats the furthest anyone has gone playing this way?
-
Now I just wonder if they will let me use that in a casino....?
-
Oh, no. He clearly out played you.
-
Yea, they have been airing poker off and on since 1993. And their production value is great. Espn has extended its coverage all the way to 2010. With plans of having a PPV final table at the 2007 World Series. Now why on Earth would they ever try and help out thier competitors?
-
Whaaa???? Espn would try and help this station out for the good of the game?, I do not think so. Lest we forget that Espn took a pass on airing the Wpt in the first place. Then when poker made it big, they jumped on the good ole band wangon and picked up the Wsop. I really doubt Espn or any other station out there is going to try and help out a poker channel.
-
What they really should create is a games channel. Board games, card games, maybe even pocket pool.......

Since its the end of the year and all, any chance of an update.

Content is going to be a huge hurdle for them. I really do not see the Wsop or Wpt moving to a new network, not with the ratings that they have been pulling in of late. And without a achor show like that, they have no hope of making a profit. Even if they got the rights to play reruns of the Wsop or Wpt, who would want to watch those over and over again?
