small town tournaments

I live in a small town (about and hour away from any major city or casino), so NLHE tournaments put on as fundraisers by various groups has become the rage around here. You pay $25-50 entry fee with a chance to win between $300-$500.To say the play is very loose would be an understatement.It's funny to listen to people talk about poker on tv and playing on the internet. Here are a few of the things I heard last night:"I sure hate that Phil "The Mouth" guy, he sure is a jerk." "Yeah I know and that Maternow guys is a jerk too.""Why does it take 6 hours for this tournament to get done when that poker show on Wednesday (WPT) only takes 2 hours?""I made $15,000 last week online... it was play money tough.""Why did you call an all-in with A-2 in your hand?" "I thought I might get an ace on the river."Definitely a good time playing and a good laugh too!
