pgsihsxc123 0
Hi, I'm a bit new to the poker world, brought in by the recent television explosion, but I have a question about playing in casinos and how pros make their money. I can understand how someone can at lower limits, but at higher limits aren't the pros just playing against other pros? I read something in Daniel's journal where he was at a table with Greenstein, Reese, Brunson, Lyle Berman, Ivey and Chan. It would seem to me that the money would just change hands between the top pros. Thanks for your help.
jomatty 0
While it is true that each individual in a game that tough probably dosent have much of an edge they need to keep a game going for a weaker player to sit in and the prospect of the game getting better is always there. also, some well known players that have done very well in tournaments, and are percieved as great players, are underdogs against the toughest competition.(also they may just enjoy the game)matty
Cole101 0
Kinda like what jomatty said....I've heard Daniel say before that not all pros are created equal.....So even though everyone in the big game is tough....Some are just one step ahead of everyone else
