True money went in good but,Would'nt you call with the AA in that position?
My point wasn't that the call was bad. At this level, laying down AA is a rarity. If the AA player was asking for strat feedback on how to react to my flop shove, I imagine there would be differing opinions. Some would say "go broke and hope he doesn't have a set." Others would look at the way the hand played out, think about whether I had a set or flush draw, and maybe come to the conclusion that laying it down might be a better long-term play. There were reasons to lay it down, but I have no problem with the call. I have existential problems with the suckout because highly unlikely things like this happen more often for me than doubling through. Thus the Bad Beat Forum.
