I Thought I Was Good Until The Checkraise...

Recommended Posts

This situation has happened to me 3-4 times in the last week and most of the time I'm losing big. To take one example I had AKs and someone limped before me and I raised it to 5x the blinds (0.10/0.25 Partypoker ring games) and got called by that one player. Flop is A92 rainbow. He checks I bet half the pot. He calls. Turn is 4, for A924. He checks and I bet two-thirds of pot. He then checkraises the minimum. So it's about $16 in the pot and $3.50 to call? I called. Then river is a blank, for a board of A9243. He then goes all-in for $13+, so we're getting about 2.5/1 to call. What to do?
