so ESPN played the WSOP's $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event. i loved watching the horse event for i love stud, and mixed games. now my question is do you think this will spark any interest of viewers into playing mixed games and games other than hold 'em?

One can hope, but Hold 'Em is so "made for TV" it will always be the advertiser's weapon of choice.

Hold'Em is too easy to follow. All of the HORSE games are too complicated for people that don't play poker but enjoy watching it on ESPN.
