Any idea whats going on with party poker? They just did an update and now Poker Tracker is not importanting any hands from them.. Wtf?
-
Oh right. I've heard of those before. Do they have 1/2 tables there? Is the increased rake worth it?
-
What are the bad beat tables?
-
What is the deal with these websites and their anti-datamining?Smash said because online poker is rigged and they don't want anyone compiling large databases of evidence. But I thought he was joking?

My problem I've found tonight is this:I built my roll playing the .50/1 6-max tables on Poker Stars. When I moved up to 1/2 I've noticed a huge differance in the intelligence of players, not for the best.So I took some time to play at the 2/4 tonight for educational purposes and I found the same dumb players I was use to at the .50/1 tables as I moved from table to table. So where can I find some dumb 1/2 games? Does anyone have any similiar experiences on Poker Stars 1/2 limit 6-max games? Or even anything to contradict my experience? Any input is appricated, thanks.

How do you go about finding good games on party poker? I have been playing on Poker Stars and I pick my games by flop % but party poker doesn't give you that stat.
-
Hmm.. Yeah I am already playing 4 .50/1 tables.. Moniter cant support anymore on the screen..
-
Where do you guys think are the best 1/2 tables on the net?
-
Hmm.. So a loose aggressive style is better for tournies? I'm looking to take down the big score, not just sqeak into the money.Problem is I play a lot of low buy-in tournaments online for like $5 or $10 buy ins and it seems like I can never get anywhere unless I catch cards.I hardly ever try to make a move and the few times I do I bust out because some one is ALWAYS going to call me when I semi-bluff at pots.I flopped mid par with a gut shot today and tried to bluff the guy out cuz I knew he was weak and he called me with Top pair with a 3 kicker, in the bubble! It's like I loose my ability to push people around or pick the right time to make moves when I play online because there are no physical tells and ontop of that they are so loose.
-
Yeah, large tournies.
-
Lol, Rise. You should write a book: "The Goldfish and the Shark"
-
Can anyone give me numbers on how often a solid tournament player should expect to cash in MTT's?
-
...I was hoping they would say "Hey, he 3-bet and then he capped, my two shit cards are no good here." But I guess hoping they might exercise some form of common sense once in a while is too much to ask of them.
-
Yeah I agree, I agree. I wouldn't cap there every single time, that is for sure. With so many limpers in I was just hoping I might be able to push a few of those hands out and they wouldn't live up to their title of "Fish" by cold calling two more against a 3 bet and a cap.Heh... Gotta love them fish.

I'm just saying if you really think bet/folding this river is the best play you might as well not even bet. Just check/call down and take your free showdown.I've seen too many hands where players check/raise scary boards with bogus hands to justify folding a good hand in a big pot.
-
Yes, I've encountered A LOT of players that play AK very passive. Never bet or raise, but call all the way down reguardless of board.
That shouldn't surprise you. If it does, you should get used to it. Dont you know AK is a drawing hand? sw...but the limp with AK blew my mind at the time for some reason. -
Bet/fold this river if you don't like money.
-
6-max table a cap with 99's sucks with position?I'm aiming to take control of the hand right now by capping and forcing out the other 3 limpers and playing my position to my advantage against the 3-bet that I just isolated. Not good with so many limpers in?

Hey what does ***** mean? As the president of your fan club I need to know these things.
really ??*****No need to make this hand a huge discussion about what to do. It’s pretty simple:Bet the river. Call the check raise if it comes. Good game. -
That's okay, you crack him next time with your straight/two pair because he didn't raise.Good hand, you didn't do anything wrong.

I just see you saying action is messed up, which I don't understand what you mean by that.
