Enlighten us.Recently did a paper on Stu; seems like a lot of ppl are pulling this best NL tournament player out of there ***. He had some good wins, but a lot of players now have accomplishments just as good/better than his. What he was really amazing/god-like at was Gin Rummy, he never lost a tournament he entered unless he didn't show up, he played the worlds best at around 18 years old and crushed them, he couldn't find a game willing to play him. But yeah, seems like people are jumping on a train of thought when they are in fact not aware of his NL holdem accomplishments. -

Yes, they have former superstars. I'd rather have Stackhouse and Daniels and Payton and Posey. Dampier/Diop are pretty much a wash with Zo. So, like I said, Dallas has a bench as good as Miami's.

Dallas has a bench that is pretty much just as good.Well say all you want about four all stars. The heat have probably the best bench money CAN buy as well as one of the three greatest coaches of all time against the failure that is FLIP. As good as the pistons are if they don't get over 100 they don't win. Excuses are the Key to life haha -

So, Hold'em is not a fad and mixed games are? Really?Yeah, I'm not saying playing other games isn't good. I play Hold em' the most regularly but also play omaha and razz. Playing other games DOES help your overall poker games. I am just saying that it annoys me (just my opinion) that it seems like people are trying to play mixed games and games that are out of their poker ability just because pros say its what you "need" to do. Basically, it seems like a fad to play mixed games right now is all I'm saying. People sit down at a table and want everyone to look at them and think, "wow that guy must be really good. He knows how to play all those various games well enough to sit down in that game. When in reality, a lot of people aren't good enough to sit down in a mixed game and do well.
