  1. !@#U#*%$&!@3!(@$%$@!!!!!I figured out why I don't play no limit. After building a decent stack in 25$ max (6 max) no limit (up to $35), I get dealt AQo in MP. UTG folds, I raise to $1.75 button and bb call. flop comes A 10 2, with 2 diamonds. I bet $4, button mini-raises, bb folds, I think, and then push (yeah, i know my hand may not be good, but I figure that he may be on a flush draw and I really want to make him pay if he is drawing). Button thinks for 10 seconds before calling (he has me covered). He flips over A 6, with the 6 being a diamond. First thing that goes through my mind is YES, I'm going to double up!.then, of course, running diamonds come and I get @#$#@$@#ing stacked. I realized then why I don't play no limit. I can't handle the swings. I was so pissed at this guy... but I knew I wasn't a good nl player, and probably wouldn't get my money all in again w/ such a big edge. So, I quit. One hand just wiped out all the profit I had made at the limit tables all day...And now I don't think I ever want to play no limit again, except in tournaments.End bad beat post. No responses necessary, I just wanted to write this out.(YES I KNOW I PLAY LIKE A HORRIBLE DONKEY).

  2. Wouldn't it be great if this thread were stickied and made as a "Hi, I'm new to this forum" thread. Just a suggestion.Welcome all newbies. I've only been here a couple of months. Keep a thick skin. It can get rough.
  3. sounds like both people were douche bags to me.yea its only a 10 dollar tournament the guy shouldnt have gotten so upset but on the same token its only a 10 dollar tournament why did your friend think he needed to cheat on the first hand and look at the guys mucked hand?
    Post less.
Spade, got beef w/ this guy? Or is this just because he has 18 posts in a day?I give him a +1 because the sharks own.OP: Dealer seems like an angle shooter given his actions. I don't know how close your group is, but if I were the guy who mucked and I didn't know the dealer well, I would be 1. pissed off, 2. very cautious of playing w/ him at all, to the point where anything else questionable would probably make me leave.
  4. I'd personally like to see more nonsense content myself... Try to at LEAST start one entry with "So I was sittin on the pot this morning smoking a Camel and drinking a beer..." just a thought. I'll keep updated and let you know of any other suggestions/comments.
the blog will be mostly about poker since I already have another blog about my actual life ::yes, teneight has a life!::teneight
wow thats 2 too many teneight blogs.
    ISALSPBFMN!
    FYPzing!
I'm going to guess ISALSPBFMN stands for I suck at life please butt fuck me now.
  5. To all the people who said taking money from a drunk is a completely wrong analogy, It SHOULD be correct. If people can't give consent to have sex when drunk/high (a law in many states), then why should they be able to play poker? When people are drunk, they make decisions that they normally wouldn't make. Why should having sex with someone whose drunk be technically considered "rape" whereas taking money from a drunk at the poker tables not be considered "cheating"?Now, the OP's topic assumes that people don't know you are cheating. What if the site allows people to use cheating programs, and tells customers in the EULA in fine print that they allow people to cheat? Is it still morally wrong? Is cheating still cheating if everyone has the opportunity to do so, and the casino has no rules against it?

  6. :? If I really needed the money, I think I could justify doing this to myself. I probably wouldn't even feel bad about it. But then, I'm an immoral scumbag when it comes to money. Especially when I couldn't see the players I was taking money off of...Makes me wonder what people would do if you had a pair of sunglasses that could see people's hole cards? (I actually think there is a way to do this, if you have a video camera and a computer built in to them that keep track of all shown cards as they are shuffled...)I voted yes, but I dunno... I mean, when I first started out (on play money tables only though) I used to collude w/ my friend. Back then, though, I didn't think it was wrong... I guess cheating is cheating... but I think I might be a cheat :? .
