  1. After having played about 6 months solid on one particular crypto skin, I was just wondering if there was some way to export the notes for use on other skins. I've tried to look for which file(s) store the player notes, but I haven't found anything at all.I emailed support and they just told me that it was "in the /log directory". All I see in there (after having imported HH files into pokertracker) are control.log files that are either empty or show a summary of hands played (hand #, time, etc).

  2. I gradually worked my stack up to just under $1000 in a matter of 6 hours and kept playing all night long. All told the entire session lasted until the next morning at about 10:00 AM where I finally cashed out close to 2 grand and went home to collapse. (taking the day off from work obv)
So you played for what, 14 hours? I'd peg a regular live NL table at about 20-25 hands per hour, so you played probably 300 hands or so in that session. 300 hands is literally nothing, that's about 1 hour of 6-tabling online. Keep the number of hands played (rather than time) constant and I am sure you will see the same number of beats in live vs online play.
  3. http://www.neteller-group.com/press/en/127.htm
Reduced Service to Canada * Cessation of Canadian transfers to gambling merchants: the Group will cease processing online gambling related transactions for Canada-resident customers with effect from 12.01 AM MST Monday 9 April 2007. * Suspension of InstaCASH transactions: As of today Monday 26 March 2007, at 12:01 AM MST, Canada-resident customers were no longer able to deposit funds using NETELLER’s instaCASH service either directly or from any online gambling site. * Non-gambling services continue: Canada-resident customers will continue to be able to use their e-wallet accounts for non-gambling transactions, including peer-to-peer and pre-paid debit transactions. * Available customer funds: Customer funds, including those of Canadian residents, are held in a pooled, segregated trust account and will be available for withdrawal by customers, on demand. Canadian customers continue to be able to use their e-wallet accounts for non-gambling transactions.
Even though there is no legislation (or even pending legislations, that I know of) prohibiting companies like Neteller funding online gambling sites for Canadians, they are still pulling out :club:
  4. There was a guy playing 25plo just basically nutbarring, so I decide to sit down...His vpip I would say was >90% and ANY pot he was in was raised preflop.Avg pot at a $25plo game was ~$60...Thought cool, all I have to do is sit back and be patient, get a handand riiiide the wave to a doube or triple up
Maniacs (especially at the lower limits) are great to play against in PLO. But even though he is playing any 4 preflop (even for a raise), it isn't an automatic double or triple up. Each time he raises it up and you miss the flop or don't hit it hard enough to continue, that's 3% or more of your stack that he now has. By the time you hit a big hand, get action on it, and have it hold up, you will have lost a lot of small pots to him.Back to the bankroll requirement, the variance in PLO is larger than NLH from what I've seen. This is especially true with maniacs around, since your top set falls just as easily to a 5-high flush as the nut flush when it hits 1/3 of the time. Even at the best of times against average players, you won't get all in very often as more than a 3:1 favorite.
  5. I was about to give up and scroll for the answer and then it hit me. I can't think of a hint that won't give it away outright...EDIT: well now it's been given away and I won't feel bad. But all that math and decimals are not needed.Easier way to explain:"THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM"true"WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27"true"ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29."the $2 tip is included in the $27 total fee. So you actually need to subtract (not add) the $2 from the $27 to get $25 (what the clerk has).

  6. Is 55% good enough to risk my tournament life?
Poker is all about tiny edges :club: Plus with so few chips at a 6-handed table there probably won't be a better opportunity, especially if you can pin him on AK very easily. If he was a super rock and would only push there with AK, QQ+, then you might be able to think of folding. But any realistic range and you have to call.
