  1. nice....actually I am not a huge Palin fan. I like some of what i hear from her but something about her I just am not comfortable with. She isn't going to be a factor at the end of the race IMO
Her unfavorables are way too high for her to get the nomination. Romney is the de facto nominee, which I am not too upset about. I don't think he would get us into another Iraq.Palin would get us into WWIV.
  2. I mean who has she chosen to berate, ridicule or imply she is a better player than - Ted Forrest, Huck Seeed, Doyle Brunson and all other women (implying Jennifer Harman)
You're completely right. I mean, look at Hellmuth. He gained absolutely no notoriety at all for claiming that he was the best player in the world and that all other players suck. /eyeroll.
  3. I was going to say it's probably just a downswing yada yada but this really stuck out at me, indicating that something may be wrong with your play. As someone who can beat the pokerstars 6 and 9 man sngs at any level I love it when play gets tight. There will often be a point in the tournament where it is correct to open push 100% of your hands, usually because people play too tight. If you are not drooling when play gets tight you are probably playing too tight. The most common problem that break even players have is that they play too tight once the blinds get high.Oh and BTW, for what it's worth i have never had a -40 buyin downswing, or anything even approaching that.
  4. Did he ask you specifically? No so stop acting like you own these forums. Any1 can post anything they feel like about poker. Most players use poker tracker or hold em manager so stop being an idiot. Why should he post on those forums and not here. Get a lifeDid you type your poker name into pokertracker to bring up the stats on your name. Thats the only reason I can think
I'm trying to help him out, moron.
  5. As for calling the guy stupid for claiming Greenstein can be arrogant, how do you know he's not? I'm not claiming that he is or isn't, but you really wouldn't know unless you heard him speak off the record.
I've followed you for about 6 years (wow has it been that long?) including when you played those hu matches vs greenstein. I have only heard you say good things about him and I trust your judgement. As for not knowing for sure whether Ivey, Harmon, and Greenstein are winning players in the big game, I guess that's true, but all three have played in the big game for a LONG time and I have never heard of any of them having massive amounts of disposable income. Greenstein says he has a .5bb/hr winrate in his book and I don't think anyone would say that Ivey hasn't won millions in that game. Harmon has widely been recognized as the best all around female player and again, I haven't heard of her having massive amounts of disposable income to waste in the big game. I have heard you say that Farha is a big loser, which doesn't surprise me after seeing his play on hsp.
  6. Why hasn't anyone said Greenstein? He has been around for a long time and played at the highest stakes. Seidel is a good choice too.
I agree. I think Greenstein, Ivey, and Harmon are good choices since they have all have consistently beaten the big game, but Greenstein has been around a bit longer so I give the nod to him.To whoever said that Greenstein is arrogant: really? I mean, are you really that stupid? Anyone who knows a little bit about Greenstein knows he is not in the least bit arrogant. Plus, the guy has given millions, a large portion of his income, to charity. It's kind of hard to call a guy like that arrogant. Now if you really want to talk about arrogant, let's talk Phil Hellmuth.
  7. oh wow, didn't see the flush draw. that changes things. Still check, since the pot is a dry side pot (the other players are all in, right?) but c/r all in if he bets. He probably will call but you have 11 outs and it is still correct to get all your chips in the middle even if he calls 100% of the time. Push immediately if the other players aren't all in.

  8. Obvious check. One of the villains has obviously hit the ace and the non-all in player will not bet a weaker hand than a paired Ace. Fold if he bets, unless it's really small, and I mean REALLY small.Um, ya. Also I didn't really understand if "calls for less" meant they were all in or not but basically same advice if they still have chips.
