  1. Some day I even plan to figure out how to post pictures and maybe even copy a prior post in my current message, but as for now, I'm sticking to emoticons
Try this icon_quote.gif handy little button for quoting. To post a picture put the URL address in between these [/img] brackets. It has to be hosted somewhere on the web.
Yeah, that quote thing is pretty easy. Might as well try things out. Someone should get some use out of this thread I suppose.
  2. Fluffdog, don't know if you watch any sports, but this is the same type of promotion as any boxing match and any WWE wrestling. My point is, I don't think these two are doing it for promotional reasons, I believe they really don't like eachother. Seems obvious, sure, but when $$ is involved, you can't always take these "feuds" at face value.

  3. For limit players, would you suggest a limit beginner (although I'm a NL vet) start at a full table, shorthanded or directly to heads up? There's a lot of talk about playing position in limit, but isn't position to the blinds more important in no limit because of the blind stealing capabilities?

  4. The fact that they have named a number ($400K) at which they will pull the plug is a telling sign and a lack of realistic confidence. It's one thing to be brash on a message board, but it's entirely different to lose in back-to-back-to-back sessions. We'll see how brash they are if DN takes them for some more hockey jersey money this afternoon. I suspect a drastic change in the way DC plays this next session. After reading all the criticism, I'm thinkin we might see a little more folding. In other words, he'll play it a little closer to the vest. People know when they have been outplayed. I think DC may be in too deep now and unfortunately for a young kid, it may cost him $400,000. That's a lesson that may benefit him in the long run. Hopefully DN can teach it to him quickly.
