There is no second place. Also, Killians "Irish" Red is actually brewed by Coors. Pete Coor, not exactly an expert on Irish beer, IMO.

One word on the attempted hijacking of this thread:DaBears

Excellent point.
Yet sadly, his only ambition is to lead the rest of it...And he's the leader of the free world. -

Thanks TF, finally got it. I can leave work now. I feel like I've accomplished enough here today.
-
Nope I didn't. Last try.
-
Doubt I did this right.

Yeah, that quote thing is pretty easy. Might as well try things out. Someone should get some use out of this thread I suppose.
Try this handy little button for quoting. To post a picture put the URL address in between these [/img] brackets. It has to be hosted somewhere on the web. Some day I even plan to figure out how to post pictures and maybe even copy a prior post in my current message, but as for now, I'm sticking to emoticons  -

Now that you have 100 posts you can start to talk down to everyone below you. Enjoy.

Fluffdog, don't know if you watch any sports, but this is the same type of promotion as any boxing match and any WWE wrestling. My point is, I don't think these two are doing it for promotional reasons, I believe they really don't like eachother. Seems obvious, sure, but when $$ is involved, you can't always take these "feuds" at face value.

That was a better match. Has DC adjusted Daniel?
-
Man, I think there is some genuine dislike between the two of them.
-
Yeah, in retrospect I'd have to take 60%.
-
I disagree with Daniel, despite the 60%. There are so many fish in the main event. With Daniel's ability, I think he could find a better spot.
-
codial? I meant cordial.
-
Man, Jen was really helpful. i hope everyone realizes they don't heve to be so codial. We live in the world of Terrell Owens. So great and refreshing to learn limit from DN and Jen.

Not trying to be funny. I'm at work. I have a job that doesn't require crayons so I can't sit in front of the comp all day and come up with witty quips. I simply think your a giant ass.

If you are half as good at poker as you are at being annoying, you could probably take $67K from Dreamclown, too!

Thanks for the advice, Oceanside. Limit holdem is the only game I've yet to try, so I might as well give it a shot. I am super aggressive, so I think NL suits me a little more, but I guess I'll find out.

For limit players, would you suggest a limit beginner (although I'm a NL vet) start at a full table, shorthanded or directly to heads up? There's a lot of talk about playing position in limit, but isn't position to the blinds more important in no limit because of the blind stealing capabilities?

The fact that they have named a number ($400K) at which they will pull the plug is a telling sign and a lack of realistic confidence. It's one thing to be brash on a message board, but it's entirely different to lose in back-to-back-to-back sessions. We'll see how brash they are if DN takes them for some more hockey jersey money this afternoon. I suspect a drastic change in the way DC plays this next session. After reading all the criticism, I'm thinkin we might see a little more folding. In other words, he'll play it a little closer to the vest. People know when they have been outplayed. I think DC may be in too deep now and unfortunately for a young kid, it may cost him $400,000. That's a lesson that may benefit him in the long run. Hopefully DN can teach it to him quickly.

I mostly laughed. Actually, I only laughed, but hey, good luck with the whole thing. I'm a slave to the man so maybe you have the right idea. I'm just sorry some donk with KK cracked your JJ. Some people will call any raise.
