Yeah, in that case, you are right.Uhhhhhhh, I meant overall. 2047 people have to lose, right? -
No, 2048 means 1024 1st round matches. This thing could last more than 20 hours. I guess $60k is worth it.2048 players means 2047 matches, right? What are the odds that one of them starts off with AA vs KK? -
Who else is going to play this? It looks like it's gonna take forever to finish with a cap of 2048 players and 15 minute rounds. You'll have to win 12 rounds to take 1st place (around $60k).I'm excited as HU NLHE is my favorite.

Horrible jokes....

Sit & Go's are way more stressful than cash games, specially in the late stages when there are so many all-ins.

I'm in for the High Buy-In one. Woohoo!

Well, I went to Commerce today to play the NL cash games and my buddy who had registered for the $330 tourney showed me the blind structure. I was pretty impressed by it so I ended up playing in it. 671 players, I finished around 100th place. Steve7 is right, it is a pretty good tourney. I'm pretty sure I'll play in the $330 again this Thursday.I'd heard that this tournament was great because it was filled with a fair amount of below average players, the levels and buy ins were reasonable, and as far as overall bang for your buck they are pretty good. That was from Steve7, so I assume he knows what he's talking about. I prefer more top heavy payout structures personally. Also, I think I'm pretty much confirmed and will be coming out and playing all the NL tourneys the final week. Hope to see some of you out there.Mark -
I won't be playing it because I dislike Commerce tournaments. They are have payouts that are top too heavy. I remember playing in the $300 event in the LA Poker Classic back in January, there were about 1200 entries and only paid something like 50 places (not even top 5%). It's great of course if you go on to win the tourney. Plus I don't like the blind structures, not enough chips and the blinds go up too fast.

I bought this one a month ago and love it:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000E1CB1...1354444?ie=UTF8You can 4-table on most sites. I like to rotate the screen 90 degrees and use it to 6-table with the resizable tables at Pokerstars. An excellent all around monitor for poker, movies, games, etc.
