  4. Hey girls!!Remind that tomorow Saturday a bunch of your fellow FCP'ers wil be barraging this event!Tomorrow @ 15:00 on Poker Stars in the 50+5 buyin NL holdem event.I'm giving odds that 1 of our chaps will take this down.for the Revolution!, if u cant play, just be there for the support,
Not sure if I'll be able to play (or if I have $55 in my Stars account lol) but if not I'll stop by for support for sure. I am at work and don't have Stars software so could someone tell me if it's going to be 15:00 EST or PST?
  5. Hey Vatche,When you called my A7 all-in with your 76, you said afterward something about being priced to call... I didnt catch all you said, but anyway... I'm just curious how you figured this out. If I remember corectly, I had about 3200 to your 22,000 and you had 600 in from BB.I'm just trying to work on my 'math skills' and I figured you could explain this to me fairly quickly. This is a sincere post, I'm not trying to rag you out or anything...Thanks dude.
Having played a fair shares of games against Vatche in the Protege tournaments (way too much if you ask me!), I am guessing that he was reasoning that you had 2 overs vs. his 2 live cards. Assuming neither of you held soooted cards, he was roughly a 38% dog preflop. Looks like you pushed with 3,200 and assuming SB folded, there was at least 4,100 (3200 + 300 SB + 600 BB) in the pot and it was costing him another 2,600 to call from the BB, which offered him roughly 1.6 to 1 (more if there were dead money in the pot other than from the SB) and sufficient pot odds if he was indeed only a 38% dog. Then again, I could be over-analyzing his thought process here since he's called me off in the same situation with 2 3 off (and won) so 7 6 might just be a no-brainer call for the "Suck-Out Artist" :club:
  6. none of u stand a chance...the only dillema im facing is i dont know who to bust 1st...mr english, then seac, or seac, and then mr english...
Not to worry, Vatche. I fully plan on busting myself out of this one as usual. Dilemma solved B)
  7. While I'm flattered I made your list, please take me off. The only MTT's I play on a regular basis right now is the Neg-O. And I've only made the final table once. I am a much better SNG player. When I do start playing more MTT's I hope I can aspire to be as half as good as some of the others mentioned thus far...PM Jackson, PartyPsux, Zimmer, Grinder...among others...oh ya, throw in that wannabe Kidpoker.
I feel the same way as Figger. I am flattered but there is no way I am on that list given all the talented MTT players from the forum. I haven't played with many of the forum members, but based on my limited experience and the results I've seen since I joined the forum last May, I would vote for the following players for top 5 (in alphabetical order):ChuckstyPMJacksonPoguemahonePrtyPsuxSpademan(Honorable mentions: Dna4ever, Gilbertology, Hoosieralum, Vatche, Zimmer)There are many more great players but I limited my list to 10 before it gets too long. All IMHO of course.
I do like the dildo as a top 5 candidate.

  8. I also think this one isn't close at all. Diaw barely got off the bench last year in Atlanta and this year he's a triple double threat who plays positions 2~5 (not sure if he has actually played PG). I am most impressed with his 6 assists per game. That's just crazy for someone who plays PF mostly and now at C.

  9. I will probably end up checking out the Commerce at some point in time while I am here. Just wanted to know if it lives up to all the hype I see on the WPT, or would you reccomend the the bike/other pokerroom instead?more specific questions1. any descent tournaments around $1002. looking to play some $1/$2 nl or some 3/6 limit, wheres best?3. What are some things I have to do/see while in the city, tourist wise? Thx
Commerce is worth checking out even if you don't play there just so you can say that you've been to the world's largest cardroom. The Bike is very nice as well and has a nice $1/$2 NL area. If you prefer a much smaller place, Hustler is very clean and cozy. I think Hustler has $100 NL tourneys every Monday evening (at least they used to I am not sure about now). Hollywood Park probably has the softest games but it's quite ghetto. Think cafeteria ghetto and you can picture the place already. Beverly Hills and Hollywood are a couple places that tourists always visit when they are in LA. Seeing that you're from Hawaii, you definitely don't want to visit any of the beaches here (i.e. Santa Monica) or you will likely be very disappointed! :club: Have fun and GL!
