  6. After reading Daniel's posting about trying get into the Poker Classic for a dollar I thought I should try as well. I posted the full results of my journey under Daniel's original posting in his results. But the ending so far is quite good, I made it to the $5200 online tourney after only one try at stage 3, woohoo. Thanks for the idea, I had almost forgotten about that tourney.See the rest of you on Sept. 2nd, I hope.
Well done and congrats!I am guessing that Vatche's voodoo doll had no effects on you :club:
  7. I requested a withdrawal on June 13 from FCP. Though a series of emails to date, I still have not seen the money in my Firepay account. FCP first told me it takes 5 or soemthign business days to clear, and now it takes 8-10 days to go into my Firepay account ?What gives ?Every site I play on the money transfers almost instantly to my Firepay account, and im not even a "CHARTERED MEMBER" on those sites....geesh...
I am also having similar experience. I requested a withdrawal on June 16th and I just called Virtual Exchange to find out the status. They informed me that it should be cleared on July 4th (!) and explained to me that the delay is due to the fact that they do not have information about me from FCP. I explained to them that they had received faxed copies of the authentication documents they requested when I made my first withdrawal back in May. At that time they also assured me future withdrawals would not take as long but my current request is taking longer than the initial one. FCP definitely exceeds or at least is on par with other major sites in many aspects (bonus structure, customer service, etc.). However, Virtual Exchange's service definitely falls short of a reasonable expectation of timeliness. I am not sure how other sites handle withdrawals through Firepay, but as the OP said, it usually takes no longer than a day or two to have the funds cleared. Just my 2 cents.

  10. I know...and my customized jersey was DN's name and number on the back in blue... I plan on framing it and putting it up in my game room (w/ DN's autograph)I'm not saying it's mine...just a little curious.
Actually, I had ordered the exact same thing and just received mine this morning but was supposed to have received it couple of weeks ago... I think WKTSWAY's "gift" probably came from Figger or me :club:

  12. As an avid Lakers fan, I watched Shaq vs Dampier quite a few times when Dampier was with the Warriors. Surprisingly, Dampier probably played Shaq better then any other center in the league at the time, and I don't think there is any argument that Shaq was a more dominant player back then.
I agree and I think even Shaq (who has taken plenty of shots at Dampier through the media in the past) is acknowledging Dampier's effective play now that he has to face Dampier in the Finals.Excerpts from: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=At63...ov=ap&type=lgnsWhether those things were factors or not, Shaq began a war of words with Dampier the next time they met in Dallas. The Mavs won a tight game, with Dampier forcing O'Neal into two late misses. Afterward, O'Neal said: "Damp is soft. Quote it, write it, tape it and send it to him. I tell you, there's nothing there." Then, when Dampier struggled in the playoffs last year, O'Neal used him as a punch line, saying that a leg injury was causing him to play "like Erick Dampier." O'Neal is taking the high road now, saying he was just messing around back then. "He's a good center, been playing well, him and Mr. Diop, they've been playing very well," O'Neal said. "We ain't going to make this series about words. It's two organizations that have never been there, two classy organizations. We're going to do this the right way and just duke it out on the basketball court."
