  1. Is Travis from AZ? I believe his name on here is SunDevil so that would make sense. I played highschool football against a Travis Scott here in AZ. Probably not the same dude, just curious.

    The guy I'm thinking of went to Westwood High School. If it's him, good for him. If not, good for him anyway.
    Oh no. Trav didn't go to Westwood. It's such a common last name so I'm not surprised if there was another Travis Scott in the Valley.

    Anyone know if Travis has ever won a tournament before?
    So far in the tournies he's played in I think he's faired alright. He's won more then a couple satilites but nothing near the scale that he's playing right now.
  3. As for me, I lost 10,000 on the following hand: I raised to 250 with 7d 8d from late position. John Phan called, Paul Phillips called on the button, and the Grinder called from the big blind. The flop came 5d 9d 10h. I bet out 500, John Phan called, and Paul Phillips made it 2000. He had 7750 more so I put it all in. John folded and Paul called which left me with 1400. Paul had pocket tens and the turn came a 5...
    That sucks DN, are you going to give us Travis updates?

  4. I'll just be direct: How does Lori feel about your schedule and the fact that your poker and other poker-related commitments take up so much of your time?
    I think she knew what she was getting in to before marrying DN :-)
    It's not really for me to answer for Lori but I agree with the above. As I'm married to a poker player who is a pretty busy man besides that I've always seen it as he's working. Sometimes he'll have to pull an all-nighter at the tables or go to California for a tourney. It's just how this lifestyle works and from what I know of Lori I'm pretty sure she's fairly laid back about that sort of stuff.
  5. Hey Lori and Daniel, You know you have my congratulations! The wedding was absolutely beautiful! I'm sorry we didn't get to stay very long afterwards, we probably missed a lot of fun stuff. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your honeymoon :club:.

  7. Yo. I need some money on a site but I don't have any money in my neteller bank account so I can't deposit any money in there without being charged an overdraft fee. I was wondering if there were any other sites out there that can transfer money i.e. paypal or something like that? Basically, I would transfer somebody money on another site and they would transfer me money on neteller. The reason I don't have any money on my neteller account is because that bank is in another state and since I'm back home for the summer, I can't deposit money into that account. If someone could do this asap I would appreciate it because I'm trying to play the pieces of the pros tournament and grab a piece of Phil Ivey. Thanks!

    AlfWhat I do like.....is the idea of adding ONE tournament after the main event....and have the tournament be only for the current year's bracelet winners....that would be cool....and would be a real Tournament of Champions.....

What should it matter what others think of you,if you can get up in the morning and look at yourself in the mirror and deal with the type of person you are, than no ones opinion of you should matter. No one can be perfect all the time and we've all done stupid thing's that we regreted later, but if you can deal with your mistakes then no ones opinion's matter. As for quotes besides the one by Theadore Rossevelt, I also like the one "Living is easy with eye's closed misunderstanding all you see."

    I think Daniel is being a sore loser. Kind of like Elway was a sore loser and Jordan etc. I can understand hating to lose and getting frustrated, I don't understand people who lose and smile and laugh about it. Daniel doesn't have to accept or enjoy losing.
    I agree with what bearshadoe said. I just think that it's also easy to get frustrated when nothings going your way to begin with. Then when you try to vent about having a rough time of it a hundred people come out and say you're a sore loser for getting your irritations out. Isn't the purpose of the blog to get into Daniel's world, feel what he's feeling? If so why the heck do we chastise him for being human?
