You're discounting the play that he smooth called my bet, which he NEVER DOES. It's always a 3bet...so why smooth call here? To me this screamed high pair and trap. Also, why is he being aggressive on the flop with a set? It's 9 high and likely to completely miss me - why reraise it here and scare out a potential payoff?
