  1. Tight/passive. I honestly don't remember him raising a pot, but that's not to say it didn't happen.
  2. Ok, I really don't think I misplayed this, but I'm posting it just in case I'm wrong. Results later.PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is BB with [Kd], [8d]. 2 folds, Hero calls, MP1 calls, CO calls, Button calls.Flop: (10 SB) [Ks], [2c], [6s] (5 players)SB bets, MP1 folds, CO calls, Button folds, SB calls.Turn: (8 BB) [Qd] (3 players)SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB folds.River: (10 BB) [9s] (2 players)Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.Final Pot: 12 BB
  3. I was multi-tabling today on pstars and making liberal use of the advance option check boxes in order to keep up. But I noticed a couple of things which might be bad about them...a) Steal attempts. If I'm in the CO or on the button and it folds to me I might want to steal. If I already clicked "Call" or "Fold" though, I may not see the action in time to steal raise.B) Making others THINK I'm stealing. Eg, today I had AKo in the SB. It folds to me and I'd advance checked "Raise" so it blasted an immediate raise into the pot and the BB folded. The guy may have had 23o for all I know, but lo
  4. Sorry about that. Regarding posting one at a time, I'll do that in the future. I just didn't want to spam the board with lots of single hand posts. On villain reads, maybe it's just me but I find it extraordinarily difficult to get reads on people while multi-tabling. I'm not using GT+ right now, so maybe that's part of it. Once I've been HU with a villain a couple times I can tell, but I just can't seem to pay attention to enough other hands to get a good read. Am I the only one?Jeff
  5. You guys were so helpful on my first post, I thought I'd overdo it and post 6 hands I'm either unsure about or flat out know I messed up. All comments, flames, and raspberrys welcome. Thanks in advance,JeffHand 1: Anyone play this differently? PokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is BB with [Qd], [Th]. 5 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.Flop: (4 SB) [6d], [As], [Tc] (4 players)SB checks, Hero bets, MP3 calls, Button folds, SB calls.Turn: (3.50 BB) [Qc] (3 players)SB checks, Hero checks, MP3 bets, SB calls $3.25 (All-In), Hero calls.River: (12.12 BB) [5c]
  6. Thanks all, I appreciate the examples and the help. Btw, I do have SSHE just haven't finished it yet. I'll move that up a notch on the priority list. Thanks again,Jeff
  7. So in the spirit of learning so I don't repeat mistakes, do I then always fold a middle pair in this relative position? This hand obviously didn't work out at all, but I'm more concerned with the underlying lesson... just want to clarify what exactly that is Yeah, I'd give my reasons for it but they're all wrong in retrospect.Jeff
  8. Long-time lurker here, though apparently I haven't learned much. I just had a very bad session on PS. Partly due to bad beats, partly due to hands like this where I'm pretty sure I donked it up.The thing is, I called 2-cold with 77 not once but twice PF. Obviously I was beat, but the only excuse I'll offer is that if I hit a set I'd have implied odds galore from 4 players. I'm pretty sure that's incorrect thinking tho, so somebody set me straight. Much appreciated,JeffPokerStars 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Hero is MP2 with [7d], [7s]. 2 folds, UTG+2 calls, Hero calls, CO
