  1. Well the problem is, they open up a **** load of tables at ridiculously *****-limits (do we need that many $0,02 tables?), so no one is playing at the 1/2 2/4 and up tables. Seriously, if you're gonna play $0.02 and $0.04 tables you might as well play with playmoney.

  2. Oh and another thing - why does the login dialogue popup everytime? It remembers my name and my password, so what's the point of waiting for me to push enter/click a button - just log me in automatically please. Also, in the Tournament lobby, whenever I deselect "Running" and "Finished" so that they dont list with the other tournies - it never remembers that setting. It should always remember my filter since I'm most likely going to prefer viewing that way most of the time.Keep up the good work!

  3. -the betting bar must be fixed; it is too difficult to land on the betting amount desiredI'd like to be able to open up notes on a person by clicking their avatar (either double clicking or right clicking).I don't like how the Small Blind/Big Blind/Check/Raise boxes pop up and obstruct my cards (and sometimes other players names/amounts at the table).I also don't appreciate the software beeping at me if I don't complete an action within about 2 seconds.
Ok, I just had to echo these above. And about being able to get to players notes by clicking their avatar - I would suggest just going back to the way OnGame had it by having a context menu that you can right click to also give the option of Muting that player. Some others that haven't been mentioned:
    • Having a Check/Call ANY option in No Limit games is dangerous. I can see a lot of unfortunate mistakes being made. If a hand is worth calling off your entire stack with, you're almost certainly gonna bet it anyway and not check it.
    • The Lobby screen is even less than 800x600 and you'd be able to have a much better layout if you used the full resolution.
    • Compared to the old game screen, this table is HUGE... and yet everything else (cards, chips, etc) is the same size??? What's the point of making the table bigger if there's no need - all you are doing is taking away from the valueable space outside the table, which is why the player names, money amounts, and actions all seem so cluttered.
    • About screen size - guys, it's 2006 already!!! 99.99% of us have screens larger than 800x600. Imagine how sick the graphics could look if you had a high-resolution/full screen option that let us play in 1024x768 or 1280x800 widerscreen!!! You could have realistic card backs based on actual brands (you could even strike a deal with KEM or Copag - they get to advertise by the fact that you're using their designs, and you get cheaper prices on the decks you resell to us through the FCP store), and realistic chips/Dealer button. Seriously, a high resolution online poker interface is long overdue - be ahead of the game.

  4. Is it just me or have the tourney buyins been changed so that the rake % is now higher?? I know they've done it so that it looks like a rounded off amount (ie. $9+1 buyin = $10 out of your account), but now instead of 10% rake, you're actually paying a higher %....Looks like the rebuy function needs some work, as it's non existanat in the "rebuy freeroll"....--edit, or at least the "rebuy" button on the left side didn't work...the options box at the top allowed you to rebuy though
Whoa! WTF??? They definitely bumped the reg fees. The SNGs are fine (except for the $5 tourney where the rake is $1 instead of $0.50, not that I play that level but still). On the MTTs, however, they have increased the rake from 10% of the buyin to 11.1%. That's gonna add up over time.... not the best motivation to stick around. Also, I second the idea that we need to be able to see a quick summary of our bankroll, and the Cashier option needs to be integrated into the program itself, rather than just opening up a browser window.
  5. Some of these have been stated already, but the important ones I feel deserve reinteration so.....Essential for game play

    • F1, F2, F3 action keys!!!
    • "Smart" slider for bet amount
    • Checkboxes instead of the bubbles!
    • No avatars when seats are empty! (seriously, it's confusing)
    • BOLD TEXT for the table $$$ amounts
    • A graphic NOTES icon so I know which players I have notes on
    • Live straddle indicator
    • Chat entry box
    • 10 Handed ring games instead of 9

    Aesthetic/Other

    • Chat lobby!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • Resizeable Tables!!!
    • New deck of cards
    • Why open Tournaments in a new window?
    • Stop opening IE (or any browser) on startup - so annoying.
    • Themes/skins with REALISTIC looking tables!!!!!! Screw the cartoon graphics, break out the digital camera and tale some shots of REAL tables. For example, check out my pimped out PokerStars Skin!

And THANK YOU for making the SNGs 10 handed!!!!!! 9 Handed SnGs just aren't profitable enough for the time you put in in the long run.

  6. I think we should get a major Freeroll tourney out of all this <_<Ok.... it's up a running. So Bob, during this Beta period, where should we leave comments/suggestions about the new software? Should we email someone directly or will you perhaps start a new thread dedicated to this issue? :D:D:club::D

  7. The techs are working non stop now to get FCP up and running on the new network. We anticipate that this will happen at some point over the weekend or on Monday.
Well.... looks like we're at the river card already, and they're down to 3 outs. I'm betting they don't make they're draw :club:
  8. Although it does suck to have to wait so much longer, we do appreciate the update. But I have to agree with the above - I think it's fair to ask that you at least give us some details about the new site. Will the S&G tables be 9 or 10 handed? F1/2/3 action keys? Color-coded player classifications? Flop percentages? If the delay has been the other sites, then I assume that the software itself should be done (or near done), so can't you tell us something about it?

  9. Hey FCP_Info,I know you guys are being pretty hush hush about it, but I'm going to ask a few questions on the off chance that you can speak on them.1) Will the SNGs be 9 or 10 handed? For SNGs, 9 handed sucks, because it doesn't make it as profitable per game.2) F1,F2,F3 keys? I'm soooo used to using these things that playing without them has been a major pain in the ***.3) Customizable graphics?4) Player classifications? Not just notes, but that actual color-coding? That's another thing that I have become very used to using and helps out tremendously.5) Flop/Turn percentages?????? OnGame was the only network that had them and that was an awesome feature.6) How many other closed down sites have joined forces with you?Anything you can tell us is greatly appreciated.

  10. There's also PowerPlayer.com and Cherry Casino I think is one as well.
Also Holdempoker.net, hollywoodpoker, few more. I was thinking of changing for a while (I'm on PR) because I wanted different graphics.... then i figured out a way to change them myself! Black felt table with WSOP logo and spades watermark, beep blue carpet, changed the card backs (I forget which brand I'm using at the moment, but I've got Kem, Modiano... like 8 diff designs so far), and the Ace of Spades? Forget about it, it's sick - old school National Card Company Apollo deck logo. Also pimped out the other aces too.Unfortunately, it's a pain in the *** to modify the TGAs, cause they have to be a specific file size, but a little hacking does the job. Worth it though, my skin is wat better than any I've seen so far.
  11. I just finished this book myself, although I think I got more out of it than you did. This is probably because I AM an online beginner (I've only been playing online for about 4/5 months). I think if you are just begining to play online and you want to make a profit, there are some very usefull tips that can help you adjust to the online environment. But I would love to read the book you referenced - I think I'll go buy it today.SethM - you say you earn a living online? There is a thread going right now about this very subject: http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...opic.php?t=5673Can you check it out and offer some of us aspiring online pros some advise?

  12. I was playing $2/$4 NL on Pokerroom the other day and some moron made the dumbest/luckeist move I've ever seen.7 people at the table - I'm in the BB with $127.Dumbass to my left limps in (he has $40)... then 1 more limper, then the button raises to $19 and is all in. Since I have AK, I call him.So does the guy to my left who limped in.Flop: 7 K 2 (rainbow). So I hit my K, and raise the other guy $25 to put him all in. He Calls! (Hmm, he must have a king too) So now 2 guys are all in.Turn is another 2.... no help to anyone.River is a 9... again prolly no help to anyone. So lets see everyone's cards...Button turns over JJ - I got him beat.Dumbass to my left turns over 4h2h!!!... 4... 2 .... and hit a set.1) Who the f*ck plays 4,2 for $19?2) Why call my all in with a K on board and all you have is a pair of 2's (no other draw).Sure enough, the idiotic play took down the pot.

  13. I'm in the *exact* same boat as you. I've also decided to try and make online poker a secondary source of income. I've read some articles about cash game strategy, bankroll management and so forth - all very important information so I would suggest you start there. But another tremendously value source of information is the book "Killer Poker Online" by John Vorhaus - if earning money online is your primary concern, get this book! Highlights the difference between casino environment, and online. Don' mean to sound like an advertisment, but it's good info for sure.I'm only 1 week into my 4 week trial period. I play $2/$4 NL. So far.... well, let's say it's too soon to judge. If anyone else makes a regular profit online, please pop in if you have any usefull advise to offer (especially no limit players). Some questions I would have to any online pros...How long before you were making a profit? How much were you making at first? How much do you make now?How big are your swings (especially no limit)?
