    As played, I would have had a VERY difficult time calling that river. His line reads like he's on a draw and I can see him having AQ here a lot of the time.
    When he smooth called the flop I couldn't put him on AQ. I thought MAYBE some BS straight draw so I checked the turn when a straight card hit. I just couldn't give him credit for it though and check/called. River comes... I trust my read that I can't give him credit for a straight (i.e. a Q) on the turn and check/call off when four to the straight hit the board.Just my thought process. I can obviously see how AQ is in the heart of his range... but in the heat of the moment I couldn't put him on that.

    Hero folds.With K9 the only thing that calls you has you beat. That's what I think when I am short stacked like that and need to push, "what calls me that I can beat?" In your case... nothing. Ha.It's THE WORST when KT calls you down and ITS GOOD. Just painful... its happened to me before. KT? GG? Lol...Also, perhaps you waited a bit long to make the move. I've always heard, and abide by, the 10BB rule. Think about playing all in or fold (with discretion obviously) when you're around 10BBs.If you had a few thousand more chips perhaps KT would have folded.Something to think about.

    The reraise was bad and the call was terrible.
    I unanimously agree with the latter half of your statement, but you really think the reraise was that bad?I can't raise when the SB opens for the min?I like to think my 8s are good there pretty often. That being said, my 8s are seldom good to the 3bet and I should have folded. Calling off with 88 is what I have the problem with, not SO much the reraise.Enlighten me...
