  1. So I should probably PM Tre, lol. That hand though was probably just one of those call on a whim hands. I do fold the real trash, usually raise anything playable on the button, but sometimes I just limp the smaller stuff I don't want a huge pot with, but don't want to fold too much either. I don't really have a strategy for HU play, I just kinda do what I do.Granted last night I was a lil drunk too, but I went on a nice little roll and made like $130 at the 50max tables but then lost all but like 9 bucks back to one guy. Not even sure how I lost so much back to be honest. But I did see the potential of playing HU, cause some people were definitely just giving it away. I probably should've quit on that last guy, he was better than the others I had played.
playing in position heads up is probably the most important thing to work on. i wouldn't be limping at all heads up (1 or 2 times is fine i suppose given the match) but it's key for you to play position and take advantage of that. i believe it was krantz (pr1nnyraid on ftp) that said don't worry too much about playing your hand heads up because most of the time your opponent is going to have nothing and you shouldn't fold decent 1 pair hands unless your opponent gives you a reason to. just some food for thought. i recommend watching some heads up videos on a training site because it really helps you develop that heads up play mentality
  2. gobboboy is a nice guy, so I guess it's conceivable for him to get a hot chick.Actually, no, no it's not.tbh, I don't think it's possible for him to get a hot chick. even being a nice guy, and having money (but come on, you can hardly consider him rich tho, million net maybe, def not benyamine class), it's hard to see him with a girl. Like Benyamine is fat, but he has money, seems like a nice guy, is good at poker, but also, he presents himself well (good clothes, good hair etc.). Gobboboy is fat, a nice guy, good at poker, but he doesn't try to present himself well at all, which makes a big dif imo.my 0.02
db has class and seems pretty good spirited. that can go a long way with hot chicks these days. tbh i'd rather be banging erika than antonius' wife...
  3. I'm not folding an OP to a 55/9. He can easily have TT-QQ (he probably doesn't 3bet TT/JJ and might not with QQ). A9 makes sense as well.
why would a9 choose to cr the turn though? flush draws or simple 1 pair hands probably wouldn't play like that. it's possible villain could be holding tt-qq but the only reason i think to show aggression on that turn would be made straights, sets, or 2 pair type hands. kind of interested to see what you think.
  4. i wish she did playboy instead of jennicide
they would have to airbrush and photoshop those pictures even more than the jennicide pics.
on the next episode they'll be visiting the crack house down the street from me. seriously, did men the master turn them down for a 2nd episode and they were just left with newhouse? maybe they should show us the houses of even more irrelevant people.
  5. why what? i wasn't serious with the bet part, but i doubt that girl got into him because he's such a lovely person. i mean cmon. he looks like a livin cholesterol disease. there's the slim chance that she really truly loves him, but i say at least they got together for the money and she learned to love him later (an that at the very least). same goes for mr. aidshead gavin smith (ever wondered why he always wears a hat?) and his chick.oh, and if he lost weight and i didn't notice that, i guess what i said is just wrong.
pretty stupid thing to say considering the fact you know nothing about either of them and have no idea about their relationship or how it even came to be. maybe you should stop hating on the guy who makes millions playing poker while getting to bang a pretty hot chick.

making a crying fold here. 98% of the time when maniacs like this show a lot of aggression they have a made hand.

sb's 4bet range given your stats and his position is pretty small. how big of a sample size is it? either way im probably laying this down fairly easily.
  8. does it really matter? you'll probably end up tilting off your roll on either site like you said you've been known to do...unless you stop.full tilt > pokerstars as far as softwarefull tilt > pokerstars as fas as rakebackpokerstars > full tilt as far as withdrawing

  9. for the last few months ive been using 'neverbeg', a poker staking website, off and on to get a bigger bankroll going online; for those of you not familar with the structure of the site, i wont go into details of how the staking works, but i will say that the system is not ideal because a) there is virtually no trust between player/staker and B) the stakes are determined, for the most part, by the staker and not the horse (i will explain later why this is backwards)ive seen threads before throwing around the idea of a 'staking forum' here on fcp, and while I don't think just a general '4 stakes to the next 4.40' forum would be overly beneficial (genpo does just fine with that), I had an idea that may prove to be a bit more interesting, or may (and lets be honest, probably will) fail epiclyalot of successful players on here have had backers to help them get to where they are today; they didn't use sites like neverbeg, but rather formed relationships with various people and through observation of their play they were rewarded with backing arrangements (this is a generalization, but i think fairly accurate)i think that there is alot of eager and talented players here on FCP, and some of these players don't have and probably will never have the opportunity to impress someone who has the financial ability to provide them with backing to move up in levels/volume; there is also alot of successful players (and players who want to give back to the community) who often create staking threads for specific MTTs/SNGs at a certain point in time (the next 4.40, the $11 20k guar, etc.). what i had in mind was to develop a forum geared towards staking, but from the opposite perspective:players will create a thread outlining a plan for what they want to play with up to date stats to prove they are a winning player at what they are describing.for example, a player who crushes 4.40s will post a SharkScope screenshot of their 4.40 180mans (presumably with a sharkfin) and describe how many games they want to play, over what time period, and with what cut (players with worse stats can offer 60% to the staker, 40% to themselves to encourage investments)a player who has proven him/herself to be a great MTT player can post an OPR screenshot and outline what MTTs they'd like to play on a specific date ... and so on and so onplayers must have over 1000 posts to be able to create a thread, and must generally be known by people on the forum to eliminate the lack of trust that plagues other sites of this nature. the sense of community here on FCP is second to none in my opinion, and that alone greatly increases the trust among player/backer, and would hopefully encourage longer-term arrangements based on successful initial endeavors. furthermore, i am sure that FCP has some personal information for most members from the various contests/promotions that have been run that would also deter anyone 'running off' with someone elses money. plus, i know i am genuinely happy for a FCPer when he/she does well in an event, like when whatarunaa won the SM i was up railing him until he had won it even though I had an exam the next day.i just feel like alot of players somewhat 'troll' for stake threads, and i fell victim to doing that myself at one point in time, and I think a forum of this nature could prove very beneficial to those involved and eliminate that sense of trollingthe forum im proposing would need to be moderated to ensure things are being handled in a professional manner, but other than that the PM system and/or AIM would be the means of communication for all involved partiesask yourself if you would ever a) make a thread for a particular SNG that you have stats to prove you are a winning player in or B) invest in a player you know from the forums who has the stats to show they are winning player in a particular game rather than just throwing out four stakes to the next MTT on starswhat do you think? think there would be/is enough interest in something like this? would YOU use a forum like this? why or why not?
these talented players can easily get a job, deposit themselves and play and gradually move up. a forum like that would get cluttered beyond belief and people will start getting scammed and eventually all hell will break loose.
  10. Tourney 92317375$1.10 Limit omaha H/LLess than 200 people so far.I think FCP can win it all. LETS DO IT!!!!!
