  1. Was playing with some Grandma who was TERRIBLE to my right at a casino. Was a 2/4 game, she limped, and me from the cutoff raises $16 with KK. She calls.Flop: 349Check. I bet $25. She calls.Turn: 8Check. I bet $50. She calls.River: AShe checks and then I check and flip over Kings. She flips over A10."Oh my, I was going for the straight but I guess the Ace will do."I kept my mouth shut but was curious what straight she was going for. A234? I ended up busting her for about $250, which was nice. She had a gambling problem and kept rebuying.

  2. I came on too late before they put a cap on the first event, and didn't realize they were holding a 1.5 til it was too late.Another unfortunate thing is I cant play in the Main Event because I have classes the next day, and that thing is going to go til like 5 in the morning. Not saying I'll make it that far, but I'm not putting $500 down on something I can't play til the end. I'm probly gonna play the Omaha, and both remaining Hold Em events. Maybe try a few satellites to get in.

  3. I still think that's ridiculous. Roland had a 4 to 1 chip lead with 4mill in chips and blinds were 30/60K. It wasn't the crap shoot that Roland thought it would be. Even if it was a crap shoot, I'd probably still play it out. I'm not a "deal making" type person.

  4. Name one. 2005 - matusow2004 - Harrington2003 - Harrington, Farha2002 - Julian Gardner2001 - Carlos Mortenson, Dewey Tomko2000 - Chris Furgeson, TJ Cloutier1999 - Alan GoehringBefore '99 they were almost all pros that won the event and definitely had pros at the final table if they didnt win.
2003 - Vahedi and Lester were both pros.
  5. Went from 2000 chips and 2nd to last when the bubble broke, to now 9th in chips with 29 remaining. My big pairs didnt lose to the under pairs and my big aces help up against the smaller ones late in the tourney. It's ABOUT TIME!Everythings finally clicking.

  6. On FT, they have a "Freeroll Tournament" where it lists the Main Event seat winners, who have won their seats on Full Tilt through a satellite of some sort. Allen Cunnigham is not on the list, but it does include pros such as Andy Bloch, Erick Lindgren, and John Juanda. This list is everyone who is elligible for the 10 mill. Cunnigham isn't on the list. He is not elligble.

  7. Add John Juanda to that list of pro's at the table. Do they call each other up and try to schedule a game on FT or something? Seriously, what are the odds that all these pros are on at 2 in the morning. Most of them probly just came home from a live game. Hahaha.Edit:Didn't notice there was another PLO game going. At the $200/400 game:Mike Matusow, Chip Reese, Ram Vaswani, Phil IveyAt the $50/$100:Stuart Peterson, John Juanda, Mike Matusow, John Dagostino

  8. This is the gambling part of poker. Push. 7-7 looks pretty golden here as you could be waiting for 10+ hands before you pick up something that you like better than the 7's, and by that time, you could be so shortstacked that the big stacks have no choice but to call you. Push.Personally, I don't like sitting around wishing for good cards to come to me when I'm shortstacked. If you double up, you're sitting pretty. If you take down the blinds, thats some healthy chips coming your way. If you bust, you bust. In order to win tournaments with these high blind structures, you need to: gamble and win. This is a perfect opportunity to gamble, the winning part is up to the cards.
