If you're raising that flop, raise bigger. No, you can't bet/fold the turn, but you shouldn't be checking there either.
Cheers guys. Was actually posting the hand for my dad. I drilled it into him that he has to RR preflop. And RR PF! -

Out of PositionHaha after reading 'OOP' a couple of hundred times I'm vaguely beginning to wonder what it actually means.Anyone? -
Ugh. you're either way ahead or way behind here obv. Could he be doing this with AQ? He makes it look like 99 pretty damn well though.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (5 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.comUTG ($50)MP ($80.10)Button ($18.80)SB ($50.10)Hero (BB) ($50.35)Preflop: Hero is BB with K , K 1 fold, MP raises to $0.85, 2 folds, Hero raises to $3.25, MP calls $2.40Flop: ($6.60) Q , 9 , 3 (2 players)Hero bets $4.50, MP raises to $11, Hero calls $6.50Turn: ($28.60) 5 (2 players)Hero checks, MP bets $16, Hero ?Villain is 16/15/3 over a decent sample and from playing with him he seems pretty standard TAG, one of the better players at this level.Really hate this situation and have no idea what to do this deep -
Typo, PFR 20%.NO way a 28/2/2 is a winning player, and I think I would fold too, you're equity isn't generally that great on that board and it's very unlikely he's bluffing -
Villan is 28/20/2.0, hero has super TAG image. Actually, my human resources and business lecturer says poker should be put on a CV and he has worked pretty high up in some big companies.
-
Fold. He limped KQs so he is probably raising better. You beat 22-TT and are racing AK and AQ. While I don't rule out 88/TT, I think this is a -EV call.

I have nothing against you dude and according to everyone else you're s pretty cool person. If ya hate me that much you can just ignore me obv.telling people to die in a fire is not very humorous imo. and lol that I would follow you around... -

Your following me around in threads is getting tiring, if you have a problem with me, PM me.Secondly, I was just expressing my hate for that video in a more creative way than 'Bad video', if you don't have a sense of humour and can't sense that something isn't 100% serious, step away from the internets.wtf is wrong with you. -
Oh, well, up $335 in 8k hands 25NLNvm comp is slow, I'm an idiot. -
-
Oh god if you made that video you need to die in a fire, right now.
-
No experience. Wasn't suggesting you were wrong, just couldn't see the reasoning, but that was a really good post, certainly learned something , thanks Brett:)Not sure how much experience you have playing in aggressive, midstakes games but it's fairly common for people to check raise flush draws on this board simply because it's difficult for me to continue with most of my range. The top of my range is typically going to be 66/22, followed by hands like 77-TT, and occasionally big flush draws myself. With medium pair hands and 6x hands, it's going to be really hard for me to continue. -
Personally I don't think a flush draw shows up here a lot of the time, he is check raising a presumably naked flush draw into both you and the original PF raiser? Or is the villan particularly aggro?Agree that 66 and 22 make a lot of sense.Flush draws, 66, 22, air. I don't think he'd C/R an overpair here.
