  1. I believe MP could be reraising there with a massive range of hands, the raise before him was minimum and I doubt he actually has a proper 3 betting hand. On the flop, he only has one call behind him, and one infront. UTG checks, villan bets to hero because hero showed no signs of a super strong hand (you flat called with position, mostly screams 'I have a mediocre hand, would like to see flop'. I reraise here 80% of the time.

  2. I think that range, while possible, isn't really likely. It's assuming that all those hands are equally likely, which I think against a guy with reasonable stats who is a reg, they are certainly not.
Agree here, I do think that that range is possible with a reg with those stats, I think we would need to have a very good understanding of the player (and therefore more able to identify if this is his range) to make the call here.
  3. You should bet 16 on the turn. The turn card doesn't change the texture of the board much and since he called the flop he's likely calling the turn. You don't check and hope the nit bluffs or value bets a worse hand, if he did that he wouldn't be a nit. He will still call your turn bet with midpairs, Qc?, and worse kings. While, if you check, he's likely to go for pot control and a cheap show down and check behind.
Agreed. No point trying to crai a passive nit cause chances are he is just going to check behind.
  4. I wouldn't 3-bet PF. Unless he's an absolute spew monkey which I suppose is likely at $2NL, you're generaly crushed by someone UTG raise/calling range.I'd raise the flop too, calling is really really weak, and calling to raise the turn UI isn't that great because you're generaly folding out most worse hand he could have.River and turn as played are fine
You should always buy in for full.I don't like 3-betting an UTG raiser with KQs.On the flop I think you should raise the donk bet and then just shove the turn.
My 3bet was not for value but for information. He was raising 1 in 5 hands. I wanted to know where I stood. I take your point though, against a more TAG player I'd rather just use position.I would have bought in for full but I was playing on enough tables to use my entire BR, this just happened to be the table I had $2 left to sit down with. I always buy in for full (and keep it there).
I also don't like the 3-bet PF. Against laggy players I think you're much better off calling and using your position than you are getting into raising wars and building pots with questionable hands like KQs.By the way, what's a "wet flop?"
A wet flop is the opposite of a dry flop :club:
