nah im not stupid. variance makes poker a cruel game, and im willing to admit that i wont make 3 more in a row. i probably wont even make one in my next 10. please look at my original question though... thanks guys

well thats not even totally true. in the one tourn where i got 9th, 13 handed i was AI preflop with AA v KJ. board read x x 9 T Q. so i wont even say that much. but you get the point

luck is an element in that my hands weren't cracked. luck won't get me to the final 9 three times in a row when there is 1200, 1200, and 860 people. i thought the same thing, "there's no way this is happening again" but it has. what do u think about higher stakes

hey all, long time lurker, one of my first posts.over the last 4 days i've been in 3 ten dollar MTT's on stars. (ID twebza, but the pokerdb hasnt been updated yet to reflect my last few days.) I've made the FT in 3 of them, and i've won 2 of them. my winnings add to just about 5k. there were roughly 1200 entrants in each.yes it felt good to brag.but my serious question, are results at this level indicative of what i can do at the next level? will my game carry over to middle/lower high stakes? will i be a winning player if i keep the same game that propelled me in these tournies?best, twebza

daniel will announce the founding of a new online poker server, full contact poker. it's why he's getting us to register as "charter members..."when the site opens, we (charter members) will have ridiculous bonuses etc. to get the site going. did you really think that daniel would create a group of "charter members" for a blog and forum site? nope... there will be bigger things for full contact poker. for these bigger things he is creating a strong, central support through who he thinks will be his first and loyal customers, us.the announcement in toronto will be the launching of gaming server, full contact poker.

Ethical Move?

The following took place in a .50/.1 NL live cash game. After running bad for about a half hour, I had lost my original $60 buy in, and was steaming to say the least. My table knows my long and decorated history of tilt.I buy in for $80 dollars (more than what we normall buy-in) determined to chew up the now bigger stacks at the table. I pick up A A in the small blind to several limpers. I make it $4.50 to go. One of the more naive players says, "Chris, did you even look at your cards?" I quickly reply "no."The table folds around to my nemesis who had been catching cards the last two days and had pulled in $400 even at our micro-stakes. The villain is one of my good friends, but this shouldn't carry too much moral weight as he is very wealthy and always plays his hardest against me.Thinking I was making this move dark and on tilt, he declares a raise. He makes it $12 to go on top of my raise. Without hesitation I push all in. Now I'll remind you that they take me for an honest kid and thought that I was doing this blind. After agonizing, the villain calls with K Q . My rockets hold up, and I scoop a $165 dollar pot. After the hand he says stuff you would expect, such as "Dude, not cool" and "That's bush," and "you shouldn't lie like that."To the last comment I snapped back "I lie everytime I bluff, it's a part of the game."Despite my defending myself, I couldn't help but feel a little guilty and I've been wondering if this move was fair game. What do you guys think? Is there room for moves like this in poker? Or do you maintain a certain degree of honesty with things such as "Have you looked at your hole cards?"
