People come up to me and ask me " Bob Zany.. is that your REAL name?" And I say no, that's my stage name. My given name is Big Dick McGee.

ah, I thought you had mentioned him a couple times. I saw in ground zero he's got some dates booked at that new comedy club in town and thought I'd give you a heads up.

OMG, he's so bad! I have to go. Good looking out

I picked up a six pack of Uinta Grapefruit IPA for 9.99, but when I got to the check out, it was 3.49, so I went back and bought out their stock, without having had a sip of it, yet, out of sheer value. Thankfully, it was delicious. I'm down to 1 can, unfortunately

The reason I liked SMH is the same reason really that IW isn't on my list. I like more personal stories rather than big spectacles that rush through character development and try to do 10 things at once. I loved Vulture (who is a corny, terrible villain in the comic). He was well developed and even likable.

All of the action was well executed and impactful, none of the cgi vs cgi wars between armies that are boring and lack any tension. Plus, I generally love the Tony vs Spiderman dynamic. Also PP was the first credible PP onfilm. He was perfect as Parker.

John Wick is straight up the best action movie since the Matrix. That Keanu is the star of the two best action movies ( well, 3, including John Wick 2) of the last 20 years is crazy. The Matrix and John Wick are also the two best comic book movies, even though they are not actually based on comic books.

In Essay's defense, Marvel has done a relatively shitty job developing female characters, on the large screen at least.

I would have played the race card there, Cobly, because leaving off black panther is just bonkers.

1. Empire
2a. New Hope
2b. Rogue One
4. Return of the Jedi
5. Solo
6. Phantom Menace (I actually really like Phantom. Probably more than almost anyone outside of George Lucas. I LOVED the podrace.)
7. Force Awakens (I love Daisy Ridley. She's fantastic.)
8. Attack of the Clones (I really like most of this movie as well. It only breaks down for me toward the end. I love the water planet.)
9. Last Jedi (I hated how they handled Luke and his whole arc in this movie.)
10. Revenge of the Sith (I just hate Hayden Christensen so much. He's such a terrible actor, and he has a major role in this film.)

Wrong thread. Please keep your top 10 lists in the proper place

I loved Rogue One. I like it more than anything not in the original 3, and maybe more than ROTJ

How about we ditch this terrible thread, and start an "Essay's Personal Record Book" thread. That would be a much better thread.

I just watched the entire series again, I do it at least once a year.

I think the biggest problem as the series progresses is that the storytelling and pace of things get compacted unlike the first season.

Without spoiling anything for you though on the other hand from a technical standpoint it's keeps getting better and better. Some of the battle scenes that you haven't seen yet are truly great.

I agree with all of that. I think the Red Wedding is the peak of the show, from a story telling standpoint. I think it's a slow down hill turn in the quality of story telling after that. Not that it ever gets bad, and there are many great characters, iconic scenes, and as Bob said some truly incredibly, cinematic battle scenes. But I do think the story telling suffers from the pace, and the amount of balls they are trying to keep in the air at the same time.
