Anyone else have someone they really like who just produces absolute crap?

I'm pretty sure this entire thread is built around that notion

HR posted a guide on advancing your career on our internal intranet today. In it has links to websites that are supposed to help you find your true passion as well as interviewing tips and what amounts to a rough outline for a resume.

Nothing suspicious or odd about that.

What kind of terrible Iowan Republican can't even come up with more than one garth song? I hate actively garth brooks and I can sing like 15

I've always disliked country music even though it was the backbone of everything around me growing up. I know he's popular, and I know that I know the chorus to the song Rodeo, but there is zero chance I would have remembered it out of the blue. The only reason I know any country songs is because I had a roommate at Iowa State that was a massive (like two-step every Saturday night) country hick and he would play songs by the hundreds until he found something I could tolerate. There were a few Brooks and Dunn songs that I ended up liking, one Sammy Kershaw song, (someone named R-Something Atkins or something similar also had a song I liked) and a few Clint Black songs. That was basically the list and I've never listened to another country song or station by choice since that time (around 1995).

Somebody who thought I took their turn at a 4 way intersection followed me home and when I got out of my car I saw it was a large old lady who started getting out of her car to tell me I took her turn and then I asked her if she was fvcking serious because I was through the intersection before she even realized what was happening and she said well it doesnít matter and then I told her to fvck off and get the fvck off my property. She started backing out so I went back into my car to grab my bag and go get the mail and sheís waiting for me and so I yell at her some more and she says ďwell thatís what Iíd expect from a fat slob like youĒ and then she drove off.

And for the record I didnít take her turn. I turned right from the right most lane while the car left to me was going straight and blocking her anyways. I had completed the turn before she even entered the intersection. Even still I gave a my bad wave once I realized she was honking at me even though I did nothing wrong. And she obviously wasnít in a hurry if she had time to follow me and try to lecture me or something? I donít know. Fvckin old white ladies man.

The Lange might appreciate. My brother is up 25% since late 2016 based on the brand gaining traction. The Rolex, due to the market dynamics, will be worth $8k more than I pay, if I can get it at retail.

But really, the second I put either of those on my wrist, they lose at least 20%, and there are no guarantees for future consumer preferences and whatnot. Also, probably wise to assume $1k in upkeep every 10 years. They are awful investments.

Itís one of those situations where I probably am not serious about it, but if Iím gonna make a purchase like that, it has to be before thereís a female in my life who has veto power. I would have to be making insane money to get that shit past a wife in a family setting.

i know none of you care, but that never stopped me before, so...i get sent to pick up a customer at the Hyundai dealership. its a lady, probably around 30 years old. we're in the car and an advertisement for McDonalds comes on. its one where Zeus makes fun of Poseiden for having to buy a fish sandwhich at McDonalds because he cant catch any fish without his magical rod, which he left at his ex girlfriends. and you know Poseiden aint dealing with that shit. at the end of it I give a sarcastic laugh of disgust and the lady says to meYou liked that ad?No, it was horrible. I produced it. Really?Yeah. What didnt you like about it?Well, everything I guess. It was trying way to hard and that sarcastic too cool for school style comedy is in every ad nowadays. I see. I'll tell the writer what you though. He's a friend of mine.I doubt he cares what I think, but tell him to branch out and be original.Wow. Pretty honest there.Might as well.

I think it was more Carradine's mind and body was atrophied from all the erotic asphyxiation and couldn't act or do even basic kung fu

The COO just sent out an email announcing shorter weekly one on ones for everyone, thanking me for bringing the idea to the table. I am guessing this spreads to other areas of the firm shortly. Manager tools, man.

I'm glad Mexico and Napa are friends again.

Also, it seems like several of you have been watching a little too much of every news channel on TV if you think these tax cuts are a bad thing. The only bad thing is our currently spending. We need to cut everything, especially defense, but these tax cuts are going to be great for the middle class. Lets remember that 51% of the country doesn't pay any federal income tax at all. (http://www.politifac...-households-pa/) So you guys saying that it hurts poor people are nuts. As for health care, if we can get costs back to pre-Obamacare levels that will be a huge win for poor people. It's a shame the Obamacare drove up prices so high, since that only hurt the middle class, especially the people on the lower 25% of the middle class. But that certainly isn't going to hurt poor people either since true poor people don't pay for healthcare either. (Households with 2 kids can make $49,200 per year and still get food stamps and free healthcare, that number goes up significantly with each additional child)

We arenít. He has shit on me for the last time

Iím not even going to bother unpacking that other load of dogshit you wrote.
