I feel like Puscifer is up BigD's alley, at least in concept.

Maynard has his wine and as many bands as he wants to front, so he doesn't give a shit.
The documentary about his vineyard is pretty good. Little-to-no Tool stuff, and mostly the focus on what kind of jackass opens a vineyard in Arizona.

I've seen them 3 times, I don't care where he stands or faces
Jerk Off, is the best song ever. And ode to BigD
it is absolutely contempt. it's not about facing or stage placement as I think some of those things can be artistically justified (not wanting himself to come off as focus/more important than rest of band). it's about trying to dictate to the audience how they ingest his "art." i.e. can only buy the whole album because he feels that you should listen only to the whole album and not "favorite" tracks. which begs the question why do they put tracks on their discs in the first place? but I digress.
