Dixie Wrecked 0
I hope I'm not offending anyone by asking this (especially DN) since it could be very personal information, but how much do you think some the top pros (superstars) are worth? My opinion is that the upper echelon of pros, the legends like the Doyle Brunsons and Chip Reeses, probably have somewhere around 30 to 50 million. And, that the newest members to poker superstardom, like the Negreanus, Phil Iveys, and Gus Hansens, probably have somewhere around 10 million. What do you guys think? mbreon 0
I heard Doyle and Chip were more like in the 60-75 range, or maybe higher. Who knows now with all the endorsements and other business ventures that the top players have. If you look around I am sure that there are many other threads devoted to this topic.... JaysonWeber 0
It depends... Money Management honestly.2 pro's could make the same amount and one could be dumb and not invest, save etc... while another is a business man at heart and invests everything making his networth much larger after a few years...If done right... these guys who've been winning in the big games could set there families up for a long time. ilboy78 0
If Danny N. can afford to put up 500K to ANYONE in heads up play, I doubt he is shoppin at the good will
GTKID 0
Phil Ivey has to be worth more then 10 million dollars, same with Daniel Negranue, they can make millions a week in just one particular cash game. Ivey plays all the big action games, I'm certain he is worth a lot, even if he likes craps.
chester97 0
if you believe the rumours, then there are some months or whatever that ivey is pullin in more the 10 million just in the ring games. thats IF you believe the rumours. and plus there is so much extra money with the new popularity in poker, books, camps, appearances, etc etc etc.
Petoria 0
Most of their money now comes from endorsements and book deals and such. Doyle Brunson is probably worth as much if not more than any other pro in the world. Super System and Super System 2 have revolutionized the poker and he's going to be making money off those for many years. It's hard to imagine how much he got for putting Super System 2 together at the height of the poker crazy.
bmwmcoupe 0
I think it is very hard to tell , almost all these guys are big gamblers god knows how much they loose on sportsbetting, craps and other gambling activitysmy guessivey 20-25,doyle 35negraneau

I'll bet you they lose a ton of money on stuff like that. I saw an interview with Ivey had lost a lot of money to someone (cant remember the name of the pro) playing something called props. They were betting which cards would come out on the flop throughout the tournament (the tournament was shown on FOX sports a while back). I think he said he hoped by winning the tournament he would cover his prop loses. These guys like to gamble. So sure they they can win a million in a week, but they can lose a million as well

brian67 0
I don't think Doyle is worth nearly as much as Greenstein and Chip Reese. And from what I heard Ivey is close to passing them all up in earnings.

jomatty 0
i just finished the banker, proffesor and suicide king and was amazed at how little money most of the top pros had if the author is to be believed. i think most peoples estimates are high. im sure daniels doin very well but he dosent play that much cash games and its hard to win more than 10 million in tournaments so while i have no idea i still would guess most estimates are on the high side.matty
brian67 0
There are a lot of struggling pros, but we're talking about top tier ones. Guys that are beating the big game on a regular basis are not hurting for money.
bmwmcoupe 0
if daniel keeps it up with these heads up matches he won't be worth 2 much
