mph552 0
There is nothing better than getting the krablar on your button.I have been enjoying all of the posts on this board for months now and finally had the opportunity to take your advice and try out the krablar in a .50/1.00 limit game on Full Tilt last night (before it crashed). Raised with it on the button and bet it strong through the turn. Had one caller stay with me. After the river, I had K high. So...potentially angering the god krablar, I checked. Opponent checks behind me and shows....K high! We split the pot. Now at this point, I was confused. I did show the krablar and type "pinch pinch" into the chat bar...but on a split pot is it worthy of a dance? I did it anyway just to be careful...but guidance for the future would be appreciated.Going to Vegas to get married the weekend of June 12...will also try to squeeze some poker in out there and maybe see how the krablar should really be played. Kendren 1
My feeling would be you should invite the guy you split the pot with to join you in the dance. His hand strength was the equal of the Krablar that time. And what an ooportunity to spread the love of the Krablar!
mph552 0
I'm not sure, but intentionally spreading the krablar to someone may be illegal in this state.
BigDMcGee 3,352
It should be a shame dance, with your pinchers pointed downward... BET ON THE GOSH DARN END!!! the worst that can happen is they call you, and see that you're crazy.. GOSH!! don't you get Krablar?!?!
finztotheleft 0
Imagine my surprise....i'm making notes on a player after the showdown(I was not in the hand)..."joker raises with K3 off". (I just did not pick up on the Krablar...my bad. My sincerest apologies) When I notice "pinch pinch" in the chatbox. Always nice to see a fellow FCP'er at the table. We thought dancing was in order, but I think we confused the rest of the table. Nice hand mph.

MDXS 0
This question came up at a home game just tonight. I introduced my friends to the Krablar, mostly because I was watching "Deadliest Catch" before heading over and they thought the combination of hand and dance to be a riot. Soon after the introduction, K3 won half a hand. Our verdict was that it wasn't worthy of a dance, but our friend should do it anyway. He politely declined.

He does the krablar, and gets joyous laughter and some measure of respect. He "declines", and otherwise reasonable people call him a woos (sp).

CrazyJoe 0
is it just me, or is doing the dance when playing ONLINE pushing it a little far?
joeythep 0
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! You gotta do the dance. Online or not. It's like they teach you in sunday school as a kid...you gotta walk the walk, even when nobody's looking. ALWAYS do the dance.

I fyou like dancing, and you like playing krablar online, congrats.. BUT THE KRAB DANCE IS TO MAKE PEOPLE REMBEMBER YOU PlAY K3 To RAISES!!! I think you miss the basic point of the Krablar, if you say always dance. you should always dance, WHEN YOU PLAY LIVE!!! What the hell does it matter if you dance online or not?!? The dance is to draw attenion to yourself, and the hand... Now, you should say " pinch pinch" online, ify ou happen to be playing the Krab online, but it is very unstatifiying and no where near as effective
